A few years ago they installed a lawn sprinkler system which has been working very well and also contributes to the overall health of the lawn. They offer a discount if their program ( 5 steps ) is paid yearly rather than per step. I recommend them highly

"Our yard was in somewhat bad shape due to several years of neglect (I grew up in the city and am not well-versed in lawncare; despite all our efforts the yard was dying due to a combination of factors). Someone from Champion showed up at our door for a free estimate with hours of my leaving a message on their machine. I thought the quote I was given for lawn fertilization throughout the year was extremely reasonable. In fact, it is about 50% cheaper (approximately $78 per application for a yard that is about 1/2 acre) than what I would have paid to do the work myself (not to mention the time I would have to put in as well). You pay as the work is done. We have had two fertilizations so far and our yard looks so much better than it did two months ago. I am so pleased with the service provided by Champion so far!

"We had a massivie invasion of carpenter ants and mice. There was no way we could eliminate either of these without help. We live in the woods. Bugs and mice are part of the living on this kind of land. They aren't cheap, but they do the job and they come when called. We'll never be rid of the mice or the ants, not completely, but there are a whole lot fewer of them than there were and it gets better every year. Living in the woods is lovely, but very messy. "Northern Tree showd up on time and proceeded to lop pieces off the top until they could safely topple the remainder. The tree was probably more than 200 years old and about 4 feet across, with a side branch that was itself about 30" thick. The vertcal section turned out to be rotten to the core. This tree was about 20 feet taller than our 2-story colonial home, and located about 15 feet from the house.
