"Excellent, professional, efficient, stress-free experience with Double O Pressure Washing. Oliver arrived at the scheduled time, explained the process, got to work quickly, and did a remarkable job transforming my house, front and back white vinyl porch railings, and white vinyl fencing back to their original beauty. I am extremely well pleased with the finished product! I would definitely hire him again!"

"I usually do my own power washing around the house, but we needed a professional this time around. In my search I found Dharam, who set himself apart from every other resource in that this is all he does. He is not a handyman, who happens to also do power washing. This is his specialty, and he excels at it. Dharam washed our siding, roof, and our brick walkway, which has not looked this good since it was installed over 30 years ago. Very important to note...Dharam does not "power wash" by blasting with high pressure. He uses chemicals that destroy mold, mildew, and lichen, which prevents them from easily coming back. In addition to effectively cleaning the exterior of our home, he is such a nice, friendly man, who works extremely hard to please his clients. We did not shop around much, but the price he charged us for the work he did seemed very reasonable. I spent the time to write this review because he deserves to be recognized for his honesty, his specialty, and his hard work. I would give Dharma Surface Cleaning 10 stars, if I could."
Masonry Patio Restoration Nature had it's way with this patio. Ideally I first apply an Algaecide and return a few days later, but we can do this just as well in one trip. Installing new stone-dust or ploymeric is an optional service : www.housewash.com
Wayland Roof Restoration
Roof Cleaning - removal of moss, lichen, algae and detritus. Chimney brick was also cleaned ::: https://www.housewash.com/
Any porous surface is prone to algae, moss and other growths. After treatment I can use medium pressure to remove all the schmutz. https://www.housewash.com/
Vinyl siding cleans up like new. It's the only maintenance you'll ever need to do. I do offer the option of a wax application which allows me to guarantee mildew and algae does not return for 2 years. If it does return I rewash at no charge.

"Bourke Remodeling has worked with us on several projects, the major one being a kitchen remodel and a masonry rebuild and roofing a new shed. They did a great job and we were so pleased with the entire experience. In spite of our own sometimes fickle process and requests, Erick and Tom worked with us in a cheerful, patient and expert way and with great skill to achieve the kitchen we were envisioning. The whole process was fun, enriching and resulted in a kitchen that precisely fits what we envisioned--an updated kitchen that retained its original character while making it new again. We smile every time we enter it. Thank you so much Erick and Tom for your patience and professionalism."

Pressure Washing questions, answered by experts

It usually takes about two to four hours to pressure wash a 2,000-square-foot home. The exact time depends on how much dirt there is, the type of siding, and whether you’re doing it yourself or hiring a professional pressure washing service. A DIY job can take an average of six to eight hours, but you should plan for it to take an entire day. A pro can get the job done quicker.

Professionals use pH-balanced solutions, fabric protectors, and safe steam cleaning technology for specific fabrics. These products are designed to break down dirt effectively without leaving residues.

The average cost to pressure wash a house is around $310, with typical prices ranging from $200 to $420. However, the total cost can vary widely, from $200 to $750. Power washing, which uses heated water, may cost between $250 and $400 per project, with an average of $200 to $300 for a 2,000-square-foot home.

Key factors that influence the final price include:

  • The size and height of the house (a multi-level home costs more than a single-story one).

  • The complexity of the job and accessibility of certain areas.

  • Geographic location.

  • Equipment and hourly labor costs.

Hiring a professional is often recommended as they bring their own equipment and cleaning solutions. Experienced professionals know how to complete the job effectively without causing damage to your siding, gutters, or landscaping, which can be a risk with high-powered water jets.

Cedar shake siding requires regular cleaning, or else it will grow mold and algae. However, a pressure washer can easily damage your cedar shakes if the water pressure is too high. We recommend cleaning with a garden hose instead. Review our guide to cedar siding maintenance if you’ve just finished your installation.

Pressure washing your driveway can prevent cracks in it since it removes grease and oil, which, if left on the driveway for too long, can break down compounds in concrete and asphalt, leading to cracks. It can also help keep driveway weeds, moss, mold, and mildew at bay while boosting your home's curb appeal.
