"Andreia and her companion came over in February 2021 and did a fantastic job cleaning up a kitchen sorely in need of some work (floors, open pantry, counters. . . ) and also the bathroom. She was kind in making time for me, as I needed to have work done in a hurry. She was friendly, professional, thorough, extremely pleasant to deal with, and reasonable. Any one who hires her is fortunate indeed to have the benefit of her services."

"The most recent service call was to clean carpets in three meeting rooms and one connecting hallway. The carpets were heavily stained after a school year of use. Everyhting came out and we are fresh to start another year!"

"Puroclean went above and beyond to clean the air ducts in my home. They arrived on time, were very professional, explained what they would do and how much things would cost. They even drove to the nearest Home Depot to purchase the filters I needed for my system as I couldn't tell them in advance what size I had. They did a good job cleaning up when they left.
I will call them again next time I want to have my system cleaned.

"I went online looking for a cleaning service to clean out my mess of a room; within an hour after entering my data online, I had a call, we set a date: nice, convenient, fast. The day of the appointment, they showed up right on the dot, and within three hours, my room was completely transformed. I was astounded at the speed and efficiency the husband and wife team demonstrated, all while they maintained a friendly, cooperative, and professional attitude the whole time. I definitely recommend hiring these people if you need a single room cleaned, or even your whole house."

Drapery Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Insulating windows without plastic is usually the better method. Outside of simply replacing your windows, you could buy cellular shades, which trap air between the window and the home, add a window film that blocks UV rays and traps heat, or cover your windows with a low-emissivity coating called “low-E.”

Regarding UV protection for furniture, synthetic fabrics like polyester and acrylic are some of the best choices. They have inherent UV-blocking properties and can withstand prolonged sun exposure better than natural fabrics like cotton or silk. Additionally, outdoor-specific fabrics for patio furniture often include UV-resistant treatments to enhance sun protection. Fabrics like these have become softer and more comfortable, making them suitable for interior spaces like sunrooms and other spaces brimming with natural light.

The recommended frequency for professionally cleaning drapes varies. As a general guideline, aim for every four to five years. However, you should consider more frequent cleanings in specific circumstances. For homes with pets, heavy soiling, or residents with severe allergies, cleaning every two to three years—or even two to four times per year—is beneficial. Light-colored drapes may need cleaning every one to two years to maintain their appearance. Some also follow a biannual schedule, cleaning in the spring to remove winter dust and in the fall to remove summer pollen. In between professional services, lightly vacuum your drapes with a special attachment to remove surface debris, but avoid abrasive brushes on delicate fabrics like silk and linen.

Whether window film is better depends on individual preferences and specific needs. In some instances, window film can be much less costly to install. Aesthetics is also a deciding factor. Window film may have a more significant appeal for design minimalists looking for a clean and streamlined look without the heaviness that comes with curtains. On the flip side, they can also appeal to design maximalists looking for creative expression in the form of color, patterns, and texture. Choosing between window film and traditional window coverings depends on factors like desired functionality, aesthetics, and personal preferences.

You should avoid putting anything in the dryer that could be damaged from the heat or tumbling motion, or caught in any parts of the dryer. While there are some items that should never be dried (such as spandex, silk, leather, wool, etc.), there are some items you can dry, but only if you put them in a mesh bag first. These are usually delicate items or any items with strings or pieces attached that could be ripped off in a drying cycle.
