So I know what what to expect, how the work should be performed and the costs associated with it. We interviewed six highly rated contractors in a highly vetted and competitive bid process. Jeff set himself apart with his reviews on a number of highly reputable sites (including this one), home owner references (of which there are many) and team (plumbers, electricians, tilers, painters, finishing carpenters, plasterers, masons, suppliers, etc.). We have reconfigured and optimized most of the rooms and removed several load bearing walls to create an open floor plan. We refaced our fireplace in honed granite and replaced the fire brick. We're in the midst of finishing half our basement which will include a wood burning fireplace adding 610 square feet of living space. We also plan on renovating the attic into a living space with heating/cooling, new windows and skylights as part of phase two. Thus far there is no challenge we have thrown at Jeff that he hasn’t been able to address. He’s a consummate professional, honest, reasonable and the quality of work is outstanding. Further, the communication is excellent. He is always available (Saturday and Sunday if need be) and provides nearly daily updates with the progress of our project. I know I was thankful for the feedback I received from homeowners when making my contractor decision. I’m happy to do the same for someone else."
