"I couldn’t be happier with the work from AML Landscaping! They removed a large tree and trimmed several shrubs around my yard, and the results are outstanding. The crew was professional, punctual, and friendly. Their pricing was very fair, and they left everything spotless when they were done. It’s rare to find a company that combines skill, efficiency, and genuine kindness — but these folks nailed it. My yard has never looked this clean and professional. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-quality tree and landscaping work!"

"The company owner recommended that instead of grinding the tree stump he would dig it up. I am glad for his recommendation. I can plant a new tree in the same spot. The work was done promptly and they cleaned up the area. The price was right."

"Evers was very prompt returning my call and coming for an estimate. His price seemed a tad high but he could start right away. He and his guys showed up the next day and got to work. They worked very hard and made great progress. They finished up on the second day dropping new plants into the ground for me edging and spreading weed preventing fabric on my beds before mulching. When I got home from work the yard looked great but upon closer inspection I realized that the mulch was very thin and the fabric was showing through in a lot of areas. I texted Evers and said it looked good but just needed more mulch to cover all the areas. I never heard back. And now with all of this rain a lot of the mulch has now washed away even more leaving my beds almost back to where I started. It was a great experience up until the final part. I don't know why they didn?t get 4 more yards of mulch. It?s $200, I paid 3800 for the job."

"I did a lot of research and I got at least six estimates. Thunder was not the cheapest but it wasnâ t the most expensive. I really liked Anthony when we spoke about the job. He was very responsible and professional. They showed up on time and did a great job cleaning up my flowerbeds, weeding, edging and mulching. I would definitely hire them again in the spring. Very happy with the job they did. Thank you Anthony and team."

"He was able to pull his truck into a difficult driveway Cut down all my trees And Take everything away. This investment pays for itself. Raking leaves every year is costly. All that's left to do is to pave it all so that nothing grows out of the ground ever again."

Weed Services questions, answered by experts

Pulling weeds once per month is typically often enough to keep most weeds at bay. But in general, it's best to pull weeds as soon as you spot them to prevent deep root growth and slow their spread. To make it easier, plan your weed pulling after rain or after the sprinklers run so the soil will be nice and wet and the weeds will be easier to pull. If you notice moss accompanying weeds, make a plan to remove the moss immediately to prevent damage.

Technically, dandelions aren’t bad for your lawn, and they don’t directly kill grass. In fact, they appear in areas that are nutrient-deprived, and their long taproots can loosen the soil and bring nutrients closer to the surface.

However, dandelions do spread quickly, and they can take over your lawn, eventually crowding out grass. This is why a healthy lawn is the best defense against dandelions.

A spot herbicide for weed control is effective at killing crabgrass and not grass, but it depends on the type of herbicide. Always check the label to ensure that your herbicide is safe for grass but tough on crabgrass. Overall, spot treatment is ideal because it puts fewer herbicides into the soil, which can damage the soil. If you’re wanting a natural remedy to crabgrass that also won’t harm surrounding grass, you can also hand-remove crabgrass or even pour boiling water or 5% vinegar over crabgrass as a spot treatment.

Mowing your grass regularly, especially if you’re mowing close to the ground, can help kill Johnsongrass. Frequent mowing helps limit the spread of Johnsongrass and can even deplete carbohydrate reserves in rhizomes over time. The more time you leave in between mowing, the more likely Johnsongrass is to regrow and take over your lawn.

Dandelions, while hard to control and widespread across the country, are not typically categorized as noxious. Yellow starthistle, however, looks very similar to a dandelion and is highly damaging to local plants and invasive across the country.
