"Marquis Tree Service was great from start to finish on this big job. John Marquis came out to scope the work, calculated the price on the spot, and tagged the trees that needed to be removed. A few trees were within the wetland buffer zone, so John wrote an excellent, detailed letter to our Conservation Commission to get approval for the removal. I had to be out of town the day they were scheduled to take down the 13 tall pines near our house, and I was worried about not being there to deal with issues, but John assured me all would be well. He called me that morning before they started the job, called me during the job to discuss taking down one more tree that hadn't been tagged initially, and confirmed when the work was done. I expected some damage to the lawn or driveway, but when I got home the only evidence that the crews had been there was the missing trees. I've used two other tree services over the past 20 years, and Marquis wins. They have the right equipment for the biggest jobs, the office staff is responsive, the crews work carefully and efficiently, the owner knows his stuff (he holds degrees in forestry and is a certified arborist), and (surprisingly) their price was competitive. I'd trust them with the biggest/trickiest jobs."

Given the size of the trees and the proximity to house, Aaron and his team did all the work with extreme care and efficiency. Not only he and his team have the high skills of handling tough tree removal job, but also he examined all the surrounding trees and walked with me and advised me on the health of the other trees on the property. "I had two semi-dead ash trees threatening my deck and my house. These 70ft trees were along my property line and less than 20 feet from my deck. I was afraid that a severe storm would bring them down. Mr. Slocum brought studied the situation. We agreed on a price and he brought in his equipment and crew who skillfully brought them down piece by piece. I was amazed how accurately and carefully he got the job done. They put on a fine show. They stacked the big pieces onto a truck, ground up the rest and hauled it all away. I was very please with the work. They had to navigate their trucks and equipment through some other a large maple trees to do this job and didn't damage a twig. These things weighed tons. I would certainly call them back the next time I needed tree work."

William was very efficient and thorough in doing all the work that needed to be done to clear the area.
