For over 20 years, our mission has been to provide the highest level of quality and service to our clients. You can expect a competent, courteous and skilled crew to complete your painting project. We are good listeners, so tell us what you need and let us do the rest. We are experienced, factory- trained, properly registered, certified by the EPA, fully insured and highly recommended. Our work is guaranteed and we never use subcontractors. Check us out, read our testimonials, then you know you made the right decision using Paint Perfect Inc. In 1987, Will (son) was a Freshman at Boston College. Coming up with tuition was a challenge! Mike McCarthy (dad), who had painted when he was at BC, suggested that they could paint some houses together to earn tuition money. The seed was planted, and from that humble beginning, a painting business started to take shape. Robert Gordon (trusted Foreman) was a high school student in 1987 looking for something to do and joined the crew that first summer. Ever since then, Robert (Bob) has been working together with the McCarthy family to build Paint Perfect into what it is today. As a business, Paint Perfect, Inc. had some important decisions to make. One of the biggest was our commitment to following the rules. That means we work 'on the table' and properly classify our staff as employees. Another important piece is the licensing. We are a licensed Home Improvement Contractor (HIC) in MA and CT, we are a RRP lead safe renovator (RRP) registered nationally with the EPA (covers CT) and also a Lead Safe Renovator in Massachusetts. These steps insure that both our clients and employees will benefit from a safe, professional experience. We have now been in business for well over 20 years and are proud of the service we offer. Contact us today for a free estimate!

"Great to work with, polite, and did an excellent job patching walls and painting ceiling, trim, and walls. We highly recommend."

I am detailed oriented with an eye on my work being what my customers have to come to appreciate. I do not want you my customers to ever feel that you did not receive the workmanship you expected. I prefer the small jobs that I can get in and get out as soon as possible, because after all let's be trueful know one wants a stranger around for longer than need be.

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

When considering whether to paint your house yourself, weigh two major factors. One is time. The larger your home, the more time and energy you'll spend painting it to ensure a quality result that you're satisfied with. Safety is the other, especially when painting a multi-story home exterior. If the job requires ladders or leaning out of windows, protect yourself by hiring a pro.

Painting the interior of a single room will take the average DIYer between 6 and 10 hours. However, your timeframe could increase or decrease based on factors such as your skill level, room size, as well as the number of light switch plates, outlet covers, and other small objects to work around.

Whether you use a brush or roller depends on the size, shape, and amount of tiles. Rollers are easier to maneuver over large areas and can apply a more even coat of paint in a shorter time frame with no visible brushstrokes. Brushes are best for precision work, particularly in very small areas. If you don't want visible brushstrokes on your painted tiles, you can paint details with small foam brushes instead of bristled paint brushes.

It’s okay to paint over wood paneling, but you should be sure to use a primer first. You may also need to sand it before painting, depending on the paneling’s condition. Painting your wood paneling can give it a fresh look and make your room feel new.

Unlike staining concrete, painting concrete often results in chips and peeling over time. You can expect numerous touchups over the years if the concrete is in a high-traffic area. Since concrete paints are opaque, you may also find it more difficult to get the exact color results you want. Lastly, painting concrete can make it much more slippery unless you mix in an additive for traction.
