Bob was the first to reach out to our urgent need of an extension and completely update the existing driveway before winter hit. He came out next day took some measurements we talked about a plan and how we wanted the driveway pitched to the street. Bob Made us feel comfortable talking with him and we felt confident in hiring him.He also is a huge dog lover!... Crew arrived next day 8:40 right before 9 to start paving. Whole crew was fast and efficient. Nice guys and we're very professional. You can tell Bob takes his job serious along working with his son. "Brent and his guys were the best! I am exceedingly happy I selected them to replace my septic tank. This was a major project for me that had the potential to delay the sale of our home. Brent & company came in with the knowledge, equipment and skills that were required to complete the job professionally and efficiently. There was a couple of unforeseen issues but Brent was able to resolve them without batting an eye! He also absorbed the added costs on his own even though I offered to split the difference. You should plan on sealing your driveway about once every five years, although you should plan to do it once every three years if your area experiences frequent rain or snow. Sealing your driveway protects it from moisture, UV rays, and chemicals from your car, like motor oil and antifreeze. If you find that your driveway stains easily or appears to be cracking or fading, you may want to schedule a sealing service regardless of when you last sealed it.

If your driveway has only small cracks, sealing them can prevent the damage from spreading. However, sealing the cracks will not necessarily improve the overall appearance of your driveway. For the best final result, fill the cracks first with filler, then seal the driveway and let it cure completely.

Whether you should resurface or replace your asphalt driveway heavily depends on its condition. If the foundation is solid and the damage is minor, resurfacing is your best bet because it’s more affordable and faster than replacing the driveway. But if your driveway has foundational problems and/or severe damage, like large, deep cracks and potholes, then it makes more sense to replace it. 

Driveway installation is challenging. While chip seal might sound easier to apply than asphalt, the process still involves heavy machinery and professional skills. Unless you come from a construction background, we recommend hiring an asphalt company to chip seal your new driveway. If you are paving the driveway entirely with chip seal, expect to pay $5 to $10 per square foot.

It depends on the type of sealer. Some sealers can dry in as little as 4 hours, but many can take up to 48 hours to fully cure. To play it safe, don’t drive on your driveway for two days after sealing.
