"I had a very positive experience using Yankee Pest Control. I appreciated that Galvin Jr. showed up on time and when he said he would. That is hard to find with most service providers nowadays! We walked through my house and he pointed exactly how and where the termites had compromised the basement foundation. He explained thoroughly, the process and cost it would take to remediate the situation. They came out a couple of days later and performed their services just as he explained-no sudden changes that required more money as I've heard of with some other guys.
Overall, I was very impressed with how Yankee Pest Control runs their business and I felt that their prices were reasonable. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

"I had a good friend recommend armor pest control. They had done business before and I was told Jose was the best around. When I contacted armor pest control he showed up two days later right on time. Jose took the time to look through my house and properly to identify key problem areas. When I had questions, he answered them and gave an in depth explanation. I cannot stress enough how great he was. I felt comfortable knowing he was going to help me take care of my pest problem. He really does go the extra mile. By the time he left I felt more comfortable in my home. Jose really makes you feel like family when he’s working with you. You won’t regret working with Armor pest control. Thank you again!"

"My experience with API was positive from start to finish. They were the first ones to respond to my request for service and they were able to come and do the job the following day. That was July 5th, and to date, as promised, I have had no further issues with nests or hives in my shed. I intend to contact API for any future pest control issues."

"It was 9:00 at night. Blake email within 20 minutes of my request. We spoke the next morning. He was knowledgeable and helpful. Based on the time of year and the size I described he didn t think I had a bee s best. He had me send him a photograph and he confirmed it was a swarm of honey bees. Turns out they are an endangered species and needed to be lured away rather than exterminated. Blake put me in touch with the right people. All for no charge. What a great organization. Professional all the way."

Different pest control methods exist to help mitigate an infestation. Not every technique will work with every pest, which is why speaking with a pest control expert is crucial to taming your problem. Different methods of pest removal include:
Heat treatments
Freezing treatments
Traps
Barriers
Chemical pesticides
Fumigation
Rodenticides
Mechanical devices
Repellants
The cost of pest control is $175 for the average homeowner. However, you could spend as little as $100 or as much as $500 or more, depending on the infestation size, the number of visits you need, and the pest you’re exterminating.
For example, if you need to rid your home of spiders, you’ll likely be spending between $100 and $300. However, if you have a termite problem, you can expect a bill of $230 to $2,500 or more, depending on the infestation size and damage caused.
Animal removal specialists specialize in removing critters and wildlife from in and around your home. These include:
Bats
Birds
Groundhogs
Moles and voles
Opossums
Mice and rats
Raccoons
Skunks
Squirrels
The specialist's method to remove these critters will depend on the animal. For example, groundhogs will be live-trapped and relocated, whereas, for birds, the expert will remove and discard the inactive nest and sanitize the area.
Professional animal removal costs between $200 and $600 for average homeowners. However, depending on the type and number of critters removed, this cost could range from $85 to $1,400.
This cost does not include the cost of home damage caused by the animal, which could be as low as $300 for minor drywall repair or as much as $15,000 for crawl space cleaning and restoration.
Even if you’re not immediately showing signs of pests, it’s a good idea to get into the habit of routine pest control. This should be done yearly, quarterly, bi-monthly, or monthly, depending on your location and if any signs of infestation are already present. For example, if you live by water, you might experience more pests in the spring and summer than someone who lives in a dry climate. Discuss treatment options with your pest professional to determine a suitable schedule for you and your home.
