I instructed them it was not necessary to haul away the excavated material and they could just dumping it on the slope I want to fill in anyway. They did a beautiful job on the installation and without being asked they spread the excavated material out on the slope rather than leaving it in a big pile. I was so impressed with the outcome I had them immediately add on to the patio to include the area I keep my grill. By all accounts I should have had that done with the original install but didn't think of it. I was not able to be there when it was installed and when I did return I was not surprised they did a wonderful job. Instead I was surprised by the fact t hat not only had they done a great job but they also anchored the cabana covering I was using to cover my grill to the new patio without even a suggestion from me and it looked awesome. These guys are top notch. When it comes to professionalism these guys have raised the bar. I will use them again and again and have already referred several people to them."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ma/marstons-mills/briggs-landscape-construction-reviews-6053141.htm"},"position":9},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"JP's Services","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"MA","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Barbara N."},"reviewBody":"
originally hired Joe for carpentry items. Joe was prompt, professional and easy to work with. I rated this job a B plus. I also employed his painter to paint the trim and closets of downstairs. The painter he employees is absolutely worth the money. Except for a minor few spots, I was pleased with the results and rated this job a B plus as well. Joe was paid in full, his asking price at the end of the job.
I was very disappointed in the landscaping job. I hired him over 2 others even though he cost more. He made my lawn wait almost one month after I hired him. He kept putting my job off "next week" made my yard wait 3 weeks, my the time he arrived to do the flower beds in front lawn (edging, weeding, and spreading mulch) the weeds were 8 inches long, He did not weed any of the flower beds. He edged some of them and then dumped mulch over the weeds. The next day I stopped at my house and I was so disappointed. I called Joe, and when we were face to face he argued with me. Until this, I would have given at least $40,000.00 worth of work. I would not hire him at this point as I will not pay someone their asking price to do what they feel like doing and ignore what I paid him to do. I was very disappointed in his lack of professionalism when I complained of the work. I clearly said I wanted my lawn raked, not blown. He denied "blowing" the leaves even though numerous flower bunches were flat to the ground. Joe looked me in the eye and denied blowing the leaves and insisted he raked (no rake marks were seen on the dirt). I thought I had found the one that I could trust and work with. Instead he treated me rudely and acted as if he were my boss instead of me being his boss. It is because of this kind of treatment I joined Angies list.
I called Steve on Monday for a move on Tuesday the next day. My daughter unexpectedly had to move home. We agreed on a price and planned on meeting at 11:00 am. My plans changed so that I could meet him at 9:30. He said no problem. Steve along with Brian showed up at 9:30. I told him I had a...

The 2 guys arrived on time with a leaf blower and rakes. They did an excellent job clearing my leaves and there are lots of shrubs and bushes on the perimeter so they had to get the leaves out from behind the shrubs. They did an excellent job and filled 11 lawn bags and it was the best leaf...

"Was in the market for replacing our homes front walkway. From start to finish, first receiving a quote in August from Michael, and deciding thru all the quotes to work with this company. The crew lead by Dan worked wonders for our front walkway. First started out on a Friday 9/12 preparing the area to be worked and finished an amazing, outstanding job on Monday 9/15. They worked each stage of this project, taking their time, taking care of all areas to what I call awesome.
I am sure I will be working with Travers again, because of their outstanding work."

FAQs for dirt hauling projects in Forestdale, MA
The kinds of items or materials accepted will vary by hauling company. Some companies will not handle hazardous waste, but hiring ones that do will cost from $5 to $100 or more, depending on what type and quantity of material.
Most companies will haul items such as:
Construction and remodeling waste: $100–$600
Appliances: $50–$600
Furniture: $50–$400
Electronics: $60–$200
Yard waste: $70–$500
Unfortunately, some plumbing scenarios, like a broken sewer pipe repair, will require excavation to complete the job. Plumbing excavation costs range from $30 to $70per cubic foot. However, if you need additional trenching, expect to pay an extra $4 to $12per linear foot. Keep in mind that these costs are on top of the plumbing repair costs, and they don’t account for labor costs. Consult your excavation specialist to determine an accurate estimate for your job.
The cost to hire a professional junk hauling service ranges from $60 to $600, averaging about $270. Your final price is determined by the type of junk, amount of junk, the distance to the dumpsite, and the equipment required to move and haul your items or materials. Keep in mind that construction junk removal is more expensive than hauling household items, so expect to pay $800 for removing large piles of debris.
The average cost for pool excavation is $2,500. This cost can range from $450 to $4,500, depending on the pool shape and size, time of year, and any need to move buried utilities.
When excavating for your pool, you might have to move existing utilities. You can expect to pay an additional $15 to $25per linear foot to move gas lines. To move a septic system, it’ll cost an additional $2,000 to $20,000. A pool that is 10 feet by 12 feet averages $450 to excavate, and a 20-foot-by-40-foot pool averages $3,020.
The cost for residential excavation is $3,200 on average, ranging between $50 and $200per cubic yard. Total costs could range from $500 to $15,000, depending on the project type, yard size, and soil type.
When a project needs an excavator, the contractor will subcontract one as part of the larger project. If you hire an excavation specialist, you can expect to pay between $40 and $180per hour. When excavating, if you have soil with excessive rocks or clay deposits, expect an additional cost of $200 to $1,200.
