"After living in this house for 38 years ( original owner), I was surrounded with trees. All trees are gone and I'm now at the bottom of a hill the builder made for new houses. Job was finished in 2 days, all trash and cleaning done. Wendel came by to check on the work, we are waiting for a couple of finishing items ( pump cover and outside drain pipe finish ). These 2 guys were amazing with the amount of cement that had to be taken out, the stone carried in 5 gallon buckets, the mixing of cement to repair the floor. We gave them lunch and whatever they needed for drinks. I see a few bad reviews on this company but I would say it's the customer looking for too much perfection. This company is great with their prices, warranty, and their very hard working employees, Ed always responded when calling with questions or concerns."

"Wow! Unbelievable! If we ever have a water problem again, Pioneer will be the only waterproofing company that we call. We were getting some water in our basement which has a stack-stone foundation and radiant floor heating. We interviewed three companies and were particularly concerned about a solution that would stop the water without compromising the radiant tubes that were in the floor. Initially, Pioneer recommended a baseboard system that would run along the outside of the wall. Upon inspection, Mike Oliveira discussed a traditional drain to sump pump solution. We reiterated our concern about puncturing a tube in the floor and Mike assured us that he and his team would hand chisel potential problem areas to avoid the tubing. Moreover, this solution would save us roughly $2K and give us a lifetime guarantee vs. a 25 year guarantee on the baseboard system. The team showed up on time, cleared a 50' span of concrete by Noon, uncovered two sections of radiant tubing without puncturing the line, installed the moisture barrier, sump pump and new concrete by 4 p.m. They had to drill through a hefty header board to connect the pump line to an existing drainage line that carries water away from home and that was completed by 5:30 p.m. Mike came back in a week and we tested the fix using free-flow from our sprinkler system -- it worked perfectly. Subsequently we've had some consistent spring rain and absolutely no water in the basement. The team (including sales, service, billing, installation) was professional, courteous and available when we had questions. They saved us money, fixed our problem and provided a lifetime guarantee. We're both ecstatic and amazed!"
