Fast and honest Quality Residential Electrical Service with 38 years of experience at only $75.00/hr. Also provide Commercial Electrical Service.

"Frances is pleasant to talk with and was punctual and responsive. My problem was that he's probably too busy. When I received his invoice, he charged me for the recessed lights that *I* had already purchased and then I had to prove myself by showing him the receipt. He charged me 2x the Home Depot price for Romex (which I had 100 feet of in my garage, ready to go). He put in dimmer switches that didn't match the coloring of my house project (old switches were almond, new switches should have been white) and then indicated he thought I wanted almond color since those were in other places (so were the white!). He should have asked what color I wanted, but didn't and then didn't offer to replace them. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth, I'd not hire him again."

We currently employ 4 technicians. Our office is staffed by family members. We use subcontractors for services we are not licensed to provide. We charge by the hour for service work and offer quotes for larger jobs. We do charge travel one way..

"We originally hired MacLellan Plumbing and Heating to replace the main pipe in our cellar. We were so pleased with how everything went, that we hired them again to replace our heating systems in our 2 family home. Marty explained our options and answered all of our many questions. Marty, Joe and their office staff were amazing. They installed two combination boiler and water heater systems in our home. Both Marty and Joe were very friendly, polite and always prompt. My sister and I always felt safe while they were there. From the moment they started everything they needed was set up, organized and ready to go. Each night our cellar was left neat and tidy. When the installs were complete, you would not have even known that we had work done. The installs went seamlessly and within the stated time frame. Everything went so well that we will be hiring them again to move our laundry to the first floor. Before they left we asked if they had time to check our stove to make sure it was working properly and to check our garbage disposal that was jammed. The disposal could not be fixed, so I asked if they could replace it when they come back to move our laundry. Marty said “No, I have a new one in the van and I can install it before we go.” Amazing."

"Once again, Ranieri Construction has gone above and beyond our expectations! We needed to have our inground pool patched and painted, and may I say Andrew (and Lou) did an outstanding job. My husband usually spends time (and $) at the beginning of the season making sure the water stays clean and clear. But patching up all the spots, and then painting the entire pool ensured the pool was so much easier to clean and keep clear on day 1. The improvements also made it easier to maintain the water balance and keep clean. Please consider these folks- they are prompt, detail oriented and very efficient. Feel free to get in touch with us if you want to hear more"

We provide complete Gunite Pool Repair, COPING, TILE, and POOL PLASTERING In house personal with over 30 years installing finishing products to the Gunite Pool Industry. We also sell products for the Do It yourself home owners. Go to www.GuniteRepair.com

"Lee completed my pool maintenance 4 years ago. So, this is a testimony to how his project has held up. Fantastic. is the word. Lee was responsive, very communicative and honest. The surface has held up very well. I secured 3 quotes. One was from a larger firm and they were arrogant and insisted on expensive additional services claiming them to be code. I called them on it by actually getting the building codes on pools. The other firm was fair but I liked that Lee was involved himself in the project. The only issue was the side ladder. To do that they had to chip out the steps. They used a form to pour the new steps. After the pool was full I noticed the steps had little air bubble holes. So, make sure you inspect steps right when the mold is removed when a plaster coating might be a solution. Too late when the pool is full. But that is the only issue. He stripped and replaced the tiles which used to be falling off. I have had no problems with the new tiles. I might mention that Lee uses a higher quality and more attractive plaster. Other firms charged extra for that."

"Had project partially completed and partially paid for. When I spoke with the owner, he said he would personally fix the issue but it’s been over two weeks with multiple unanswered phone calls and our sink is starting to back up. Do not recommend this place as they are highly unreliable and lack initiative."

Pool and Spa Servicing questions, answered by experts

For a fully-foamed hot tub, freezing typically occurs when the temperature drops below 28 degrees Fahrenheit and remains at or below this level continuously for a minimum of 36 hours. If your hot tub and pumps are still operational, however, the water circulates, and this continuous movement helps prevent freezing, even in very cold conditions. This circulation, along with the insulation provided by the foam, helps maintain the water temperature and prevent it from freezing during extended cold periods. Still, if you’re not planning to run it regularly, be sure to winterize the hot tub properly to prevent damage from freezing.

Hot tub heaters typically last seven to 10 years, though some might only last five years if not properly maintained. You can maximize your hot tub heater’s lifespan by ensuring the water’s pH level is properly balanced.

You can and should use a hose to fill a hot tub. There shouldn’t be anything special about the hose other than it shouldn’t be damaged. Kinks or leaks could slow down the filling process. Attach the hose to the nearest spigot and get the water flowing.

Yes. If you test the water and the alkalinity is too low, you can raise it by adding an alkalinity increaser, which likely came with your hot tub’s chemical kit. In a pinch, you can use baking soda to raise the hot tub’s alkalinity. Raising the alkalinity will prevent the hot tub water from becoming too acidic.

Properly maintaining your hot tub will prevent serious issues from occurring down the road. You should replace the filter once a year, regularly look for and repair small cracks in the shell, and test the water quality every few months. You can do this yourself for less than $100 per year.

You can also hire a hot tub service to service your hot tub annually to identify problems early, which could save you money in the long run. They cost about $100 to $200 per call.
