"This deck/porch rebuild is the fourth project I’ve done with Home Pro Services, and I will give them first refusal on any future renovation/construction projects. Apart from the consistently high quality of the work, I appreciate and value the following: Trustworthiness - I have no hesitation having Home Pro working in and around my home while I’m away from the property. Everything is secure when I return. Focus - Home Pro is a small company which doesn’t take on large numbers of jobs simultaneously. A client has their full attention for the duration of the project. Environment - Work areas are kept clean and organized. Collaboration - They work with me to achieve the results I want. Forthrightness about costs/alterations to plans - Any recommended changes to original plans are discussed in advance as are the costs for changes/extras; alternative approaches/costs are discussed. "We met the contractor in the spring for him to survey the job and provide an estimate. He was highly recommended by others in our neighborhood. He provided an estimate but was unable to predict precisely when he would be able to do the job; he indicated a wait of about 4 months. We decided to wait for him because he had been highly recommended. Over the next few months, our area received a lot of rain, which delayed the project further but it was not especially urgent for us, so we waited. Eventually, the contractor started the job in late August. His crew was dilgent and professional. They were well equipped with the appropriate machinery and equipment and completed the job to a very high standard in slightly over 2 weeks. We are delighted with the results, which have transformed the appearance of our house. Overall, the job represents extremely good value."

"The cabinets themselves were very well made, but the process and other aspects of the experience were less than great. Michael didn't pay much attention to the detailed drawings or project parameters provided by the designer, and didn't verify as-built conditions. As a result one of the cabinets was incorrectly sized and some floating shelves I provided were incorrectly installed. Because they hadn’t been included in the original quote, I had to pay an additional fee. Additionally ,communication and adherence to promised schedule and deadlines was inconsistent. Michael is a nice guy and I can tell he’s capable of doing some very good work, but I wouldn’t hire him again based on this experience."
