The crew neglected to protect a living room floor that had been in good condition, necessitating laborious cleaning for which the company compensated us about 30% of fair cost. The crew left the house unlocked overnight repeatedly despite our complaints. The crew lost our key, for which Mr Peters agreed to reimburse us, but he did not believe us that the key fit seven locks and offered to pay for just two. The carpentry work included trim and access panels. The carpenter installed one of the access panels in the wrong location. The company might have fixed the mistake, but we asked them to leave it for reasons unrelated to the work. The job ran over budget, we were told, and Mr Peters offered to honor the high "worst case" end of the estimated range. We negotiated in good faith about the damages but were met with skepticism and gaslighting."
