This is my daughter’s first home, but my fourth — I’ve done complete renovations before, hired many contractors, added basements, pools, in-law apartments. But I’ve never met anyone like Bruno. We’re now getting our estimate next for the kitchen, and the basement. Then by the end of the year the exterior. We don’t have a big budget — just heart and determination — and Bruno has treated our home like his own. They assigned different contractors to do the construction work. One of the contractors said that the job was too big and that they could not do it, which was fine. I respect that. The secretary stated that she would try to find other contractors to do the job. The owner came and walked through the house and we spoke about what needed to be done in the house. I did not feel confident in his contractor because he seemed that he did not know what he was doing. I wanted him to do one specific thing. The owner wanted to take down the whole wall. I just wanted to reopen a small section. I started to feel like they were pushing me. For those reasons I felt uncomfortable and did not go with them. The quote was detailed.
