"The install crews from weathervane were mostly well informed and efficient. The mini/split system seems to be working well. My only---heads-up with not just this company, but just about everyone now a days is that I do not text. (Dexterity issue) So I was not always "in the loop"."

"It was so much easier than getting a dumpster. I paid less money than if I had gotten a dumpster because a dumpster charges by weight and since it snowed and rained, everything in the bag was wet - I would have paid a fortune!!! With the bullbag, I paid one set price and the cool part: I got the bag back to refill again and again. This company also recycles most of what is collected so less ends up in a landfill.
No better business bureau complaints.
One set price to empty.
I get to reuse the bag over and over."

"Mr Welles called me back after second call, a few days after initial call. he came out on day we agreed on 2 days later. I left a detailed note as he was only there when no one was home. He replaced the breakers w / old but functioning breakers (they don't make them anymore). He took care of the immediate problem and did take a brief look at 2 bathroom light fixtures and discussed the problem of our pool light shorting out every time we turned it on. He suggested that we have the pool company recheck the light fixture which would require pool being emptied a good bit. When we asked if he could help us find outside electrical circuit servicing pool light, he briefly looked around and told us it would be more useful if we cleared alot of the overgrowth of bushes to save money it would take for him to labor through (as in clear the clutter before the cleaners come in so they can do their job). As it turned out, we drastically cut back the shrubs and the outside electrical lights only to find the electrical circuit in the small building our heater and pool pump was in. It was blocked from obvious view until we had the defunct heater removed and there the circuit was on the back wall. There was not the in lawn setup we had been told to look for by people before Mr Welles was involved.. We did not pursue the matter of the bathroom fixtures. The main point is that he did take care of the main problem adequately, w/i 4 days of initial phone inquiry. His first hour of service fee seemed high at $150, subsequent hours I believe are $100 /hour. I would recommend him and would use his services in the future."

"Provider called at about 8pm the night before to cancel a Monday appointment. Granted, this was during a rough winter, but a little more advanced notice would have helped.
Seemed to do a nice, thorough job on the air ducts, however the deal was for a fixed number of supplies & returns. I had fewer supplies, but more returns, so I was charged a surcharge for each additional return, even though they were shorter than most of my supplies.
Could have done a better job cleaning up dirt and dust that accumulated on my floors around the vents that had piled up during the vacuuming.
Staff was very nice.
All and all pretty good though, would probably use again. My vents were filthy and now they are not.

Common repairs for central vacuum cleaners include motor repair, electrical repair, and blocked filters. Central vacuum motor issues typically come with a burning smell and loss of suction. With these issues, you might need simple lubrication to keep it running smoothly, or for more extreme problems, you could need a motor replacement.
Electrical problems or losing suction strength, might be reasons to swap out electrical components for new ones. However, a local central vacuum repair professional can tell you the best plan of action for your system.
The average cost for central vacuum cleaner repair is $310, though prices can range from $120 to $500. Your total cost will depend on the type of repair needed and the type of central vacuum you own.
A minor motor repair, like lubrication, only costs around $50. However, if you need to replace your motor, you’ll be looking at a much higher price tag with a total of $100 to $500. Other fixes, like electrical work, are charged by the hour, which ranges from $15 to $55 per hour.
A central vacuum system can last between 10 and 20 years if maintained properly. The frequency of use and amount of maintenance dictate its lifespan. These central systems last significantly longer than portable vacuum cleaners, which last 8 to 10 years on average. Keep your central vacuum system in good condition by checking the hose, wand, and attachments for clogs and emptying the debris bag regularly.
The average cost to hire an HVAC contractor is between $50 and $150 per hour if charging hourly. However, some HVAC contractors will charge a flat fee by the type of service they are performing—for example, an inspection can cost between $150 to $500. Keep in mind that emergency repairs—which are made after business hours or around major holidays—generally cost more than scheduled repairs.
Yes, most states require HVAC technicians to be certified, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed HVAC technician could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:

Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
