"Window Washer Pros was the only company that contacted me. Louis Foskey came to my home and gave me a price for the job. The job was completed today and I am very satisfied with the results . The men were courteous, careful and friendly . I am hiring this company to clean my gutters later this year."

"Rick was wonderful. He came and unpackaged and built a 2 person sauna for me. He was meticulous and cleaned all the packaging materials after the job. Would definitely call on Rick again if I had a similar project."

"Overall I would give Angel's Cleaning Service an A- and would use them again.  For background, I needed a complete house cleaning on a 2,100 sq. ft. house that I had purchased, but wanted cleaned before I moved into it.  I particularly wanted the 2.5 bathrooms and kitchen cleaned thoroughly, including fridge, stove, oven, interior of cabinets, etc.
Pros:
- Very timely communication via AngiesList messaging
- I had given 3 dates that worked for me in my original message and they were easily able to accommodate one of my days.  I messaged them initially on May 27th for cleaning services on June 23-25th; so about a one month lead time.
- They estimated the cost to be about $420 and it ended up being $450, but I did add a little additional work, so I feel the end cost was as estimated.
- Prompt arrival at the agreed upon time and date.
- Very friendly and asked direct questions about what I wanted cleaned as we did an initial walk-through of the house.
- Hard working and efficient.  They completed the entire house in about 4 hours with 3 ladies working in tandem.  They never took a break or dallied.
- They went the extra mile on some things, such as when cleaning the interior of the windows they opened each window and vacuumed and wiped down the dirt that accumulates under the sill.
Cons:
- My only con is that there were a few minor places where I had to go back and clean more thoroughly.  One was inside the dishwasher there was some water staining that I removed.  I hadn't asked that they clean the inside of the dishwasher so maybe they never looked there.  Also, I asked that the doors be cleaned and they did do a decent job of this, but I went back with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and was able to do a much better job on some of the dirtier doors.  Bathrooms, fridge, stove, oven, and all stainless appliances were immaculate so overall they did a really great job.

Window Cleaning questions, answered by experts

To effectively clean fine dust after construction, start by dusting high surfaces like ceiling fans, walls, and window sills, allowing the dust to settle. Then, use a vacuum with a HEPA filter on all surfaces, including furniture, carpets, and floors, making a second pass for thoroughness. Follow up by mopping hard surfaces with a damp mop to capture any lingering particles. It's also important to clean appliances, vacuum HVAC returns and supply vents, and replace the air filters. Properly ventilate the home to help clear out remaining dust, and avoid sweeping, which can spread the dust around.

Use of harnesses and ladders ensures safe roof access.

Window washing usually refers to cleaning dirt and other debris off of the exterior of your windows, while window cleaning is a much more involved process that addresses the outside and inside of the glass, as well as the interior components. Window washing is more to improve the aesthetic of your windows, while window cleaning can improve performance, reduce the risk of damage over time, and even improve your home’s energy efficiency.

Yes, professional window cleaning is worth the investment. Regular deep cleanings help keep your windows looking new, extend their lifespan, and boost your home's curb appeal. By removing dirt, dust, and other debris, you can reduce the risk of damage and accelerated wear to window frames and components. It also improves your home’s energy efficiency by keeping insulation and weatherstripping in good working order, potentially lowering your energy bills. Furthermore, annual or bi-annual cleanings can help identify problems like leaks or cracks early, before they escalate into expensive water damage. You can often recuperate the cost of cleaning through energy savings and by avoiding premature window replacement.

Window cleaning costs around $220, on average, but you could pay anywhere from $150 to $300 or more, depending on the number of windows, how accessible they are, and the type of windows. Some professional window cleaners charge on a per-window basis at around $10 per window, while others provide a single price for your entire home. Either way, more windows will mean higher cleaning costs. Picture windows tend to be the most affordable because they don’t require cleaning of internal components, while double-hung windows and skylights increase your price because they’re more complicated to clean and less accessible.
