"I thought the price for a sump pump replacement was very expensive for what I had done (2 men, 2hrs). They quoted the estimate and charged me $1,500.00. Home Advisor had emailed/quoted me a fixed price of approx. 600.00. I had asked to schedule when they could do the job and said they could do it that day, THIS WAS NOT A RUSH/EMERGENCY, but I gave the go ahead because I just wanted this project done. There was no drilling involved (in the well and the wall to drain out). They replaced the sump pump and installed a new drain pipe in the well and attached it to the existing drain in my cellar wall.
