"????? If I could give zero stars, I would Hiring this contractor was a nightmare from start to finish. The bathroom they delivered is so poorly done that I feel like I need to redo it entirely. They rely on subpar subcontractors with no professionalism or craftsmanship. ? Overpromise and underdeliver: I had to stay on top of every detail myself, doing the job the contractor was hired to manage. ? Unreliable: Never kept appointments or confirmed schedules. The only time they showed up on time was to collect payment. ? Unsafe practices: At one point, a subcontractor was cutting concrete inside the bathroom with a gas?powered tool, filling my entire home with smoke. I had to intervene to stop it and argue just to get basic protections like tarps in place. ? Poor management: Subcontractors openly complained about not being paid, and I even had to send one home myself because of unacceptable behavior. ? End result: Substandard work that does not reflect the money spent. Save yourself "

Yes, you should seal your exposed aggregate concrete to keep it protected from the elements and reduce the risk of cracking and concrete spalling. You’ll need to invest in the cost of resealing your concrete about every three years to keep it in good condition. Unsealed exposed aggregate concrete is susceptible to water damage, stains, chips, cracks, and abrasion. Sealers are available in various finishes and levels of gloss. Outdoor exposed aggregate concrete should be sealed with a non-yellowing, UV-resistant sealer to preserve the look of the finish.

Ideally, your concrete should set slightly above ground at an angle sloping away from the fence post. This will add extra support and allow water to run away from the wood fence post. Keeping water out will help prevent wood rot. Additionally, you can add soil on top of the concrete for a seamless finish. 

Cost and age are two factors to consider when determining if you should repair or replace your concrete driveway. If your existing driveway is on the older side and the cost of repairs is 50% or more of its value, it might be worth replacing it. Replacing a concrete driveway when it's 20 years old and deteriorating in condition will save you from the cost of repairs that likely wouldn’t save it from replacement in a few years anyway.

Although some concrete cracks are cosmetic, others can be more serious. Cracks wider than ⅛ inch or that extend through the slab are serious and can cause structural damage. While most of the grass below newly poured concrete will die, some will grow through the cracks and around its edges with ease. Some grasses and weeds can even widen hairline cracks in your foundation, particularly the inevitable concrete cracks that form during the curing process.
