"I recently had my shingle roof replaced and I?m very happy with the results. The team was professional, punctual, and completed the job efficiently. The quality of the work is excellent, and the new roof looks great. They kept the work area clean and communicated well throughout the process. "He came on time. He actually dropped the price because the room was smaller than expected. The rug was very old, very dirty. showing the spots and stains of 6 previous dogs and 3 cats. The rug isn't like new now, but very close. It smells better without having an artificial flowery smell that makes me sick. He moved the furniture efficiently, he left a free stain remover, and he was in and out in no time at all. I would definitely recommend him."

Floor Cleaning and Waxing questions, answered by experts

You can use dish soap mixed with warm water to clean just about any type of flooring, and while vinegar is a great addition to some floor cleaners, it’s not a good idea to use it on wood flooring or engineered wood flooring. Vinegar is very acidic, and it can gradually eat away at the protective finish on wood floors. If you’re cleaning laminate, tile, concrete, or vinyl floors, feel free to use vinegar and water in a 1-to-1 ratio with a few drops of dish soap. For wood floors, substitute the vinegar for olive oil.

Regular vacuuming, deep cleaning, and prompt stain removal help maintain appearance and durability.

To maintain wood floors, sweep them regularly and mop using wood-safe cleaners. To protect the floors from wear and extend their lifespan, you should apply a sealant periodically and refinish them when needed.

Before starting on a full refinishing project, determine if your floors need to be completely sanded down to the bare wood or if the damage is shallow and mostly cosmetic. Deep scratches and gouges will require you to rough sand using a drum sander or belt sander, but small surface scratches or floors that have only lost their luster don’t need a complete overhaul. Instead, you can skip the rough sanding step and sand-screen the old finish with a buffer, removing only the top layer of polyurethane.

No, you cannot use bleach on Dekton. Avoid harsh chemicals when cleaning and treating Dekton. Such chemicals are unnecessary since Dekton is highly stain-resistant and nonporous. Instead, use a mild solution of water and soap or vinegar when cleaning your Dekton countertops and dry thoroughly with a clean cloth.
