"Dave from Calzini's Plumbing and Heating got me through a hard time when I couldn't get anyone else to provide service on short notice. As a landlord, I had to replace a hot water heater for my tenants as soon as possible. I had to shut the water off and they were extremely upset about it. The only one that responded and came out right away was Calzini's Plumbing. They arrived within an hour and were out within an hour after with everything functioning perfectly. It was in the evening so couldn't get a permit that night. Dave from Calzini's arrived early the next morning to have a permit pulled and all was good again. You’ll need two sizes of pipe to plumb a bathroom. You’ll use a 1/2-inch pressure pipe for your supply lines that run from the fixture to the larger 3/4-inch supply lines that run through the house. For drain lines, you’ll need a 3-inch PVC pipe for your toilet, a 2-inch PVC pipe for stand-alone showers, and a 1 1/2-inch pipe for a shower/tub combo and the bathroom sink. Each fixture’s drain will run to the 3-inch main drain that runs through the house.

Your baseboard heater usually should have a bleeder valve, but if not, look for air vents that bleed out the air automatically. If you cannot locate the bleeder valve on your radiator and it doesn’t feel warm even when the heat is turned on, call in a pro to have it inspected.

While the toilet bowl and toilet tank require haul away to your curb, landfill, or recycling center, you can dispose of your old, used toilet seat in your regular garbage collection. If your toilet seat is plastic or duroplast, you can even recycle it instead at a local recycling facility.
