Hargrave Painting had a reputation as clean, fast, reliable painters in the Acadia Parish area. When my father, Burton Hargrave pasted way in 2013 I was still finishing college. When I finished my degree I worked for 5 years in my career now I Blair Hargrave is looking to get back to the painting business. I worked with my dad for over 8 years and still today work on the side. I'm looking to see if there is enough work out there for me to focus 100% on painting. It's a passion of mine to paint and to be professional. It's more of a art form to me. "Doug Doucet came to repair our gutters. We trusted him to give us good service and a fair price. He did not clean out the gutters, they were still packed with leaves and debris after he left. After paying him $800, we then had to pay a carpenter to complete the work that he did not do. He also spent more time trying to repair one of the box miters instead of just putting a new one. It looked horrible! We had to get a carpenter to take it off and put a new one on, again having to pay him for what Doug should have done. AND, when we called him to tell him he should have put a new box miter, he said he didn't have one with him, but he could come back and charge us another $50!!!!!!"

Yes, you can opt to use one of these gutter system alternatives. The most traditional alternative is rain chains, which are literally heavy chains dangling from your roof’s edge to divert rainwater. A rain dispersal system may also come in handy as it breaks up the water on your roof. Most gutters already come with a dripedge to help direct water into gutters. Shingle granules can be cleaned out of gutters using a small scoop or a hose, depending on the quantity of granules and how much other debris is in your gutters.
