Small jobs welcome

"The work was done very neatly and in a very efficient manner.I would recommend them to anybody. They lay pad down, moved an overgrown flower bed and rebuilt it.Where I wanted it, exceptional work, kind people trustworthy.I felt very comfortable and they did an excellent job.I really can't say enough about my experience!! I had never hired a contractor before. And I just can't tell you how pleased I am, especially with the clean way they worked. They didn't tear up my yard, and everything was done beautifully. They actually did work that they didn't have to dug up Some cement cut down an old Pole."

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

Baseboard heaters are generally safe and efficient, but they can be dangerous if safety precautions are not followed. To ensure safety, do not block the heaters with furniture, drapes, open doors, or other items, and maintain clear space around them for proper heat flow. Regularly check that items have not fallen on or under the units. If you have children or pets, make sure they stay clear of hot heaters to avoid burns. For added safety, consider models with an automatic shut-off feature and have them professionally tested. If a problem occurs with a baseboard heater, always contact a qualified electrician or HVAC professional for repairs.

A hot fire alone will not remove significant creosote buildup and can be dangerous, as it risks causing a chimney fire. While the warmth from a fire can help loosen stuck tar, making treatments like creosote logs more effective, it is not a substitute for proper cleaning. For existing creosote, the safest and most effective method is to have your chimney professionally cleaned by a chimney sweep.

You should have either an ABC or K-rated fire extinguisher in the kitchen. ABC fire extinguishers put out wood, trash, paper, plastic, and textile fires along with grease, oil, gas, kerosene, and electrical fires. A class K fire extinguisher is specifically rated for use in the kitchen and is designed to extinguish combustible cooking materials, including grease and fat.

Burning a single palm tree stump, if you’re careful, is technically doable DIY. However, you should always take precautions to control the fire and do research if you’re burning multiple types of trees.

Some trees, such as ornamental trees, black cherry, and some oak trees, release toxins into the air when burned that can be irritating to your lungs (or even dangerous) to breathe in.

Yes, a water leak poses a major fire risk at your home because water is a conductor of electricity. Water that comes into contact with sparks or electrical wires can instantly ignite flammable materials. Additionally, any type of exposure to water can cause wires and other electrical components within your home to corrode. When assessing categories of water damage, it's important to know that even a small amount of moisture near wiring could cause sparks that lead to a fire.
