"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"Mr. Grasso and his team did an excellent job of replacing my mother’s roof. He provided an estimate in a timely fashion. Work began each day as expected. The team cleaned up when done for the day. The job was finished on time. The price was right. I highly recommend Mr. Grasso’s company if you are in search of a professional roofer."

"Good. CHW connected us with MJ Services for an appointment. MJ Services technician came to the house on the morning of the appointment date, assessed, found and reported the broken equipment. He placed a temporary solution to keep the house warm during Christmas break while we waited for the parts to come in. In the afternoon, CHW sent me a note that the equipment was ordered and provided an estimated delivery date, and arranged a follow up appointment to replace the broken part."

"It was jazz fest week and we needed the work done as soon as possible before our driveway would be filled with friends ready to clelebrate. Dan promised the work would be done and he kept his promise. We had a whole new roof including main structure and lower structure done in just two days!! We honestly didn’t believe it could be done. Dan was profesional, efficient, and his crew worked fast. We feel at ease knowing the quality of work is far better than the original construction when house was built. We highly recommend Dan at Mac bros co."

"The service worked out pretty well. I bought two of the $250 one day for a painter. They showed up a little late but they got all the work done that they said they were gonna get done. One day wasn't enough time for both of the rooms. The price was good."

"We've been due for a make over for a while as our home is over 100 years old.  They replaced all the rotted wood, gutted out the old drywall, put in new updated kitchen and bathroom cabinets, vanities and fixtures.  George helped us pick the appropriate color schemes in rooms that we love to show our friends.  Our house is so beautiful now.  We will be calling them back as we're having them make over one of our rental properties."

"We've got American Home Shield. So that kinda varies but united air temp has done some work for us. Probably a couple years ago, I think so. I think its two years ago. They did work on our air conditioning. Well you know with American Home Shield you only pay $75.00. You sign up for a year , its like something you subscribe to.  You call and contact American Home Shield and they have somebody contact you whose in line with their services and agrees to work with them. You pay $75.00 and if its not done correctly for each visit but if they come back twice you don't pay again. Its like 400 and something a year. Its fabulous, its fabulous. If you need plumbing , H VAC, lighting, its amazing. Its worth every dime. And if they can't fix it they replace it at no charge unless you want to upgrade There are some different companies but even when we refinanced our house they had us, no we bought another house in Winchester for our son. And they made us have it in with our policy and they use American Home shield. its fabulous and you don't have to do the searching or anything, If you aren't happy you just tell American Home shield. One time United Air Temp tried to talk us into , they did some plumbing work too, and they were going try to talk us into replacing it with a cheap model. That isn't American Home Shield policy its with the same thing or you can pay to upgrade. Pay the balance of an upgrade. We use it all the time. When my son has issues with his house I tell him just call American Home Shield. They guarantee they will be out within 72 hrs but its usually within 24 hours. We contacted them last week about my son's air conditioning. They came out right away, they had to order something. They had to come back out and they did last Wednesday and they fixed it."

"Like so many New Orleans homes, my 80 year old house was suffering from a general droopiness. There were a couple of noticeable dips in the floor, and the cracks in the walls were beginning to mirror the cracks in my sanity. So I began making calls. After four quotes from various companies, I decided that I felt most comfortable with Wade and Alfonso. And my instincts did not fail me.
Wade made several trips to discuss the project with me. He explained exactly what his team was going to do, and he also made sure that I knew exactly what the end results would be. On top of all that, his price was perfectly reasonable.
The crew showed up around 8 in the morning, and worked through the day until there was not enough natural light to continue. They needed access to the interior of the house only on the first and last day of the job. They built about 10 new support footings under the house, and added some reinforcement to the sections of the floor so that all the dips were gone.
All in all, these guys were a pure pleasure to work with. From the outset through completion, they made sure I knew exactly what was happening, and the crew was absolutely respectful and professional. (Strangely enough, my yard looked cleaner AFTER the job than it did before!) And then, a few days after the job was finished, the owner stopped by to make sure that the job was done both to his and my satisfaction.
Having a job like this done on your house can be stressful. Thankfully, Castillo took most of the stress out of it. Very highly recommended company!

House Leveling questions, answered by experts

Pros often use mudjacking or polyurethane foam injection to level a sunken concrete patio. Both methods lift the slab by filling voids beneath it. After properly compacting the soil beneath it to prevent future settling, the concrete may need to be removed and re-poured for severe sinking.

The polyurethane used for polyjacking will expand and cure in 15 to 30 minutes. After that point, your slab will be safe to walk on and even drive on in the case of a sidewalk or concrete driveway. Double-check with your concrete lifting specialist to confirm a curing timeline, as products can differ.

Costs range from $500 to $1,500, depending on the size and condition of the area.

Concrete leveling is absolutely worth it if you have sunken concrete slabs and want to restore them to level, especially if the slab is part of your home foundation. Concrete leveling is less than half the price of replacing concrete sidewalks, patios, walkways, and pool decks, and it’s about a quarter of the cost of replacing a foundation. If you also treat the underlying problem, it can be a worthwhile and permanent solution.

Mudjacking is usually reserved for light-duty slabs, like patios, driveways, and sidewalks. However, it can be an effective way to lift garage slabs and concrete around the perimeter of the home, which could harm your foundation if it’s not done properly. The risk of damage is why having a professional mudjacking company carry out the work is important. This type of slab or foundation repair is relatively inexpensive, especially if you consider that a DIY job requires that you pay to rent the necessary equipment.
