  • Ashleys Building & Construction
They started the project immediately, but it's not where I wanted it to be so I talked to the owner and he was so nice and very accommodating. So they started over and got the fence finished. His pricing is a bit high but he uses environmental-friendly materials and he hires excellent-skilled workers so I don't mind that his price is a bit high. I am very impressed with his dedication and commitment in finishing the project and it is a pleasure to work with him read less

  • McGaha Contracting Services
From our first meeting with Pat McGaha, we knew we had selected the right contractor for the job. Pat's approach to the project was professional, yet with a personal interest in every detail of it. He was always thinking about how to improve the useability of the space being created. His attention to detail was great. The subcontractors Pat uses are outstanding and very personable to deal with. The project was completed timely and we are very, very pleased with the finished studio. We certainly highly recommend Pat and would absolutely utilize his expertise again read less

  • Tri State Aluminum Products Inc.
Derek is their manager and was excellent through whole process. From start to finish I couldn't have asked for a more professional company. They came and did all the work in one day. Just FANTASTIC. I thought they were pricey but for the work and lifetime materials, it was well worth it. Also of note, A+ company on BBB read less

The job went fine except the quality and work was not very professional. After the cover was installed it leaked. I have called the company on many occasions and they never respond. I wrote them a letter in June 2011 asking that they fix the problem. They never responded.

Horrible. Totally inexperienced at whole house remodels. Cut corners on quality at every opportunity. His motto is whatever is fastest, cheapest, and quickest. His crew stole over $2000 of personal belonging. He didn't complete the work the contracted itemized. Said he had a six month guarantee which he has failed to honor but then again he didn't even complete the job. Just quit coming to finish his work. Originally said remodel would take two weeks. After four months, still not finished. No returned calls, texts or email. Tiles coming up, bathroom fixtures improperly installed, terrible painting on walls, watered down paint, put latex paint over oil based paint. I had to spend several hours each night cleaning up after him after he stated his crew would clean up. They left the house a total mess each day. Tracked paint, oil, grease throughout the house. Had to replaced rugs in three rooms. They threw all the old paint items not the back yard killing the grass. Failed to properly seat upstairs toilet which leaked onto the main floor. Would not replace the sheetrock on ceiling but just did a poor job of muddling over the seam and painted. Had to retire the kitchen 5 times, upstairs bath 3 times. Tiles are all coming up and breaking. Used my tools and appliances without permission. His crew ate out of my refrigerator. His CREW consisted of two young boys that had never worked for him before. He Will not pay or replace the items his crew damaged and will not pay for stolen items. We are sueing for damages. Would not recommend Kevin Hardy to do ANY work. Very disappointed read less

Initial completed work appeared satisfactory. Since completion it has been a water nightmare. I have had over $6000 of damage to flooring/sheetrock, etc and now the load bearing beam that holds up the entire structure is water damaged beyond repair. Then when I call the guy to tell him, he blames me, blames the deck material, cusses at me and refuses to fix the problem. I have a serious safety structural issue that could have killed someone and all he is worried about is going bankrupt. This guy is bad news. Stay away from him read less

It took them three months to do it. I had building material all over my house and my property for three months. It was a mess. It was pathetic. The builders came out and put in five windows and a door. It was a nightmare. The finished product was wonderful. The workmanship was terrible to a certain extent. Everything was pathetic. I had four flat tires because they left nails in the driveway. I had water in my house three different times inside a fairly nice home. This was on Christmas Eve, New Years Eve, and three days after that a year ago. In the end when you look at it, it looks great. The bricking matches the brick on my house perfectly. You can't even tell that it's an add-on. Everything turned out well with the exception of the fact that it was the most inconvenient thing in my life. I have done construction work before. I have done room additions and all kinds of things like that. Had I done what these guys did leaving a mess I would have been fired on the first day on the job. They used one contractor to do the roofing and another contractor to do the framing. They broke into my existing roof and then let it sit for a week while it rained. That's how I got the water in my house because the other guy wasn't ready to come and do the roofing. I would never use them in the future again read less
