Jordan clearly explain the process and the proposal was organized in a clear step by step manner. There was a minor hiccup during construction to which Blue Tide immediately responded and corrected. We have been using this space almost daily since it was completed.

BLUF: I highly recommend Blue Tide Exteriors Details: I was originally hesitant to contact this company based on some less than favorable reviews. However, knowing that some individual's expectations can be... unreasonable, we contacted Blue Tide Exteriors for our relatively simple job to have a cover constructed over our flagstone patio. Blue Tide Exteriors was prompt with responding, gave us an excellent walkthrough of our options and what to expect, and was upfront with pricing and timelines. We couldn't be happier with their recommendations and the final product exceeds our expectations. As an example of their quality, the workers from Blue Tide took the dug out dirt from our footers and filled in some noticeable depressions in our backyard, rather than just putting the excess dirt in a corner. These details, as well as the overall professionalism of Blue Tide, is why I recommend them without hesitation, and I intend to use them again for any exterior work. Please don't let the negative reviews sway you, this company is professional and delivers quality results at a very reasonable price.

Blue Tide Exteriors installed a new screened patio. Jordan and his crew were very professional and delivered as promised. They were there when they said they would be. He answered any questions or concerns we had. We love our new patio and would definitely recommend him to others.

**Complaint - Blue Tide Exteriors** I recently engaged Blue Tide Exteriors for an exterior project on my property, and I feel compelled to express my utmost disappointment regarding the services provided. The issues at hand encompass multiple instances of contractor negligence, substandard workmanship, and a severe lack of accountability from the company's management and employees. **Complaint Details:** 1. **Unauthorized Excavation:** When we met with the estimator Gabriel, he advised that we would not need any additional dirt work for our job. Throughout the project, Blue Tide Exteriors conducted unauthorized excavation on our property, resulting in extensive damage. 2. **Fence Damage:** Our brand new fence was irreparably damaged when the workers rinsed materials against it. Despite requesting assistance and contacting our fencing contractor, we were met with refusal and told not to seek external help. The alleged repairs made by Blue Tide Exteriors left the fence in an unacceptable condition, voiding its warranty. 3. **Uneven Concrete Leveling:** The concrete leveling work performed was subpar, causing water pooling on our property. Blue Tide Exteriors is contractually obligated to rectify this issue, which has yet to be addressed satisfactorily, if at all. **Management Response:** When these concerns were brought to the attention of the company's superintendent, Kyle, and owner, Jordan, a lack of coherence in resolving the matter became evident. While Kyle expressed a willingness to rectify the situation and make amends, Jordan disclaimed any responsibility, asserting that I was solely accountable for the issues at hand. Jordan even attempted to levy an additional $1000 charge to address damages caused by his company's negligence. **Unwarranted Blame-Shifting:** Most disconcerting was the attempt by Kyle and Jordan to shift blame onto my wife, insinuating that her emotional state, stemming from unrelated personal issues, was the primary cause of our dissatisfaction. Such unprofessional conduct is both unjust and indefensible, considering that the damages and issues were direct consequences of Blue Tide Exteriors' contractor negligence and lack of accountability. In summary, I am profoundly disappointed by the overall professionalism, accountability, and quality of work exhibited by Blue Tide Exteriors during this project. I urge the company to promptly address these concerns by undertaking the necessary repairs, fulfilling contractual obligations, and upholding the standards of workmanship. A swift and comprehensive response from Blue Tide Exteriors detailing the actions taken to rectify these issues is expected. Jordan may also claim that they were not paid for the job however they have cashed both checks totaling the amount agreed upon the job minus the $596.83 that it cost us to replace the ground dirt from the cliff they dug into our backyard, and the cost from the fencing contractor to replace the damaged portion to restore our warranty, which is more then fair as we put hours into repairing our yard when we paid a fortune to just have some concrete poured and never should have had to deal with the negligence and extremely poor professional morals of this company. Failure to meet contractual obligations to fix the concrete work will compel me to explore legal avenues to ensure that justice is served. This formal complaint review outlines the grievances, highlights the issues encountered, and demands a resolution from Blue Tide Exteriors.

Wonderful experience from start to finish! Jordan and his crew were so professional. They showed up when they said they were, they were easy to work with, quick to respond to our questions and concerns, and ultimately did a fantastic job on our patio! It's so beautiful and so much better than I even anticipated. I would definitely recommend them for exterior construction.

I had Blue Tide exteriors replace the end of my driveway with a new culvert as well as a new patio. I did my homework looking for the right concrete guy, checked BBB, looked at reviews, everything I could think of. Jordan Strader, the owner, was even $1000 more than the next bid, but with the professionalism of the contact of Gabriel Chance and the interactions coming up to the work, I thought Blue Tide was my best choice for getting a professional job. Boy, was I wrong! The end of the driveway is a mess. I had a concrete culvert and was told I was essentially having what I already had—never made mention of a plastic culvert. And the concrete was shoddily put in as it is cracking at the street. Further, when the workers took out the forms both in the driveway and patio, they broke pieces off the edges with their hammers. And they left piles of broken concrete and a pile of hardened concrete. I had to call for them to clean their mess. I had to call to complain about the quality of the job. The foreman came out and agreed that he would not be happy with work like this at his place, the number two in charge agreed to at least cap off the ends of the driveway around the culvert because their work looks horrible. Then Jordan came and said he will no nothing of the sort. Within two to three weeks I noticed cracking on the patio. I called Jordan. I don’t remember his excuses in the beginning, but naturally it’s not his fault, but since he is nice he will fill in the cracks. He said that they clearly wouldn’t match the original pour but he would make them flush with the concrete and it would still look good. I told him I would think about it for the time being and get back with him if it gets worse. It continued to get much worse. I contacted him in July is 2023 stating the patio is spiderwebbed with cracks and there is one crack completely going through the patio from one side to the other. The front part actually dropped and is no longer on the same plane as the half closest to the house. I need to mention that my old patio was all broken up almost exactly as it is today. Water would also back up into the house at the slab because the concrete had heaved. I told Blue Tide Exteriors all of this when I hired them and my goal was for them to fix my problem so that I will no longer get water in the house and I will have a patio without cracks. Jordan assured us that will be no problem as he is the ONLY company in the area to use 3500 psi concrete with fiber to strengthen it further and he puts wire in all of his projects so that the customer will be satisfied and that way he doesn’t have to go back to fix problems. Fast forward to now, he says the cracked up unstable patio is not his fault because we have water and soil issues causing it. I told him she should have told me before the work was done so that I could address any issues before having work done. He told me there was no way he could predict if I would have had future soil problems, nor did he ever say his work would not solve my problem. On the contrary. I hired him because he said he could fix my problem. He offered to come out to fill the numerous cracks but only because he is being nice. He said he is under no obligation to do even that because according to him, this is not a workmanship issue, it is my issue. The number one reason I chose Jordan because he said he fully warrants his work. That is what made me finally choose him over the other company. The problem is that I have soil issues and had the issues when I hired him. It is easy for him to say he will warranty his work when he can later say the problem is mine because of soil issues. In my opinion, he offered his warranty on bad faith as he knew he would never guarantee his work because he had my soil he could blame. When I talked to him over this and told him I need him to replace the patio, he said he stands by his work and told me about a couple of instances where he said he did not believe that he was to blame but he replaced the concrete to make the customer happy. He also let me know he does rework on his projects quite frequently. He said that 2-3 times a week he is doing rework as an example of how he stands by his work. If he told me he does that much rework in the first place I would have never hired him. Rework should be a once in a blue moon occurrence, not several times a week. And now when I check the BBB site, there are numerous complaints about him. How I wish they were there when I was looking for someone to hire. After he filled the cracks with some pliable crack filler, the filler looks yellowed and is not flush with the concrete. I have no experience doing concrete and I literally could do a better job. And that’s my plan. I have other projects I need to get done, but in 3-4 years I’m going to have to tear out this nightmare that Jordan poured and will have to do it correctly since he will not stand by his work. I’ve learned that even when the buyer is wary of who they hire, they can still get burned. Sadly, this was just one project I ultimately wanted Jordan to do. Over the next five years or so, I imagine I would have given him $50-60,000 to do the other stuff I need done. But I’d be a fool to move forward with him after he did a horrible job on a simple concrete job. At least he has that lifetime warranty as long as I own the property.

"Notice in his complaint, he outlines a couple of issues, one being te clean up after the job, in which he follows it up that he called us, we came and we cleaned it up, so I'm not sure why this is even brought up to be a complaint? Yes, sometimes guys will not always finish well or clean up after themselves the way they should or there might be a punch list. This is part of construction and we happily came out to do it. He claims it was a nightmare from the start. Not sure how because we have good open communication, we did exactly what we said we would do and what the contract said, which he even points out the xtras we sold him on to make it better and we did them. There has been no problem with this guy until months later and now the official complaint of spider cracking, which is actually better known as shrinkage cracks. We did the job, everything went smooth other then him asking for clean up, which we did, he paid and everyone left happy! Complain about front culvert. There is 100% absolutely nothing wrong with his front culvert, anyone can drive by the home to see that for themself. Lastly is the spider cracking as he says: This is shrinkage cracks, they are not all the way through the bottom of the slab and notice how he even notates and added pictures showing we came out to grind them out and backfill. We were very upfront they would not match but he asked for it and even though not required by us and I even have the recorded phone call of me telling him were not responsible but of course that was disregarded. I have explained to this man 3 times, he has a tree root problem, water problem and elevation problem and he explains to me that is somehow our responsibility to have told him that upfront, made suggestions to remedy it or have included that in our contract? Not sure how that is our responsibility to tell you things we have no expertise in and do not perform. We were hired to do concrete, we did it and to the letter of the contract, period!"

I can't believe how many good reviews this company has. We hired Blue Tide for our garage floors and it was the worst mistake ever. Taking our money was easy but scheduling, staying on schedule, and getting the job done correctly was a total pain. Our floors are now peeling and it hasn't even been a year. Jordan has many excuses as to why he's behind or can't complete the job himself but never actually gets it done. We currently have a garage floor that was supposed to be "fixed" by a friend of Jordan's but that guy came out and formed blobs and left the job incomplete. He also ran over our mailbox on his way out from the unfinished job. I want to be done with this company so badly that I'll keep the poorly done floor and pay for the repairs and damages done myself. I would not recommend this company to anyone - not for garage floors at least. Check out Ark-La-Tex Garage Doors for all exterior work you may need. They did it for another rental of mine and it's amazing.

Our patio cover collapsed in the big ice storm. We were unable to find anyone to fix it, until we found Blue Tise Exteriors. They worked with us on the plan and our budget. Once they started the whole job took 2(2) days. We love our patio cover so much. It was a great job. George and Kay Fox

They were very nice and prompt. We had several leaks. Product was not what was described. They come across very accommodating but it’s hard to get them to complete what they have agreed to do. No warranty even though one was promised. They write the estimate in a way that you think you’re getting something that you’re not.
Response from Blue Tide Exteriors LLC
"They did not have several leaks, they had one the first week it was installed and we were back out there within 2 days to fix it and she acted very pleased. She says we didn't delivery what was promised but we are confused by this as it was a simple flat pan system then screened in which is exactly what she got and we have attempted to call multiple times to ask what the problem is and will not return calls. We had nothing but good feeeback from them until we see this review and now cannot even get a hold of them to find out the problem,so its impossible to fix an unknown problem."

A+++. Gave the job to another company back in April. They did finally get shingles there in July. The work they did on another one of my homes was terrible and over priced. Long story short I tried Jordan’s team with this one. In a week I had a roof 4,000 cheaper than Quality roofing and the quality and speed was a light and day difference! He will get all of my business from here on out!
