"They were polite , they gave me a good price the day after I called them. They set up a date to do the work. They came out and did a excellent job cutting down my tree which was next to my fence and had my cable and Entergy power line running through it, my fence was not damaged and my service lines were untouched. They ground my stump and cleaned up all the trimmings. They did a really good job and the whole job took less than 2 hours. I would highly recommend them to everybody."

"The tree cutters were prompt, professional, knowledgeable, considerate and cleaned up all debris. All they worked very hard and quickly. I recommended them to a friend prior to the job and will continue doing so. Excellent choice!"

Small jobs welcome

"I live on a corner lot and the plants had become overgrown. I hired Noah to dig up 2 beds of Iris and replace them with azaleas. He trimmed my magnolia tree and pruned other bushes. He also repaired my irrigation system and replaced the downspout and put a drainage pop-up.he also removed all old mulch and put down fresh cypress mulch. Noah and his crew did a fantastic job. He did everything he quoted me to do and they did it in record time!! I already have plans to call him early next year for sod and lawn work. Noah was very knowledgeable and very easy to work with. He gets my A+!!"

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Depending on the severity of the damage, a tree might continue healing for years after a split or a break. Saplings can usually bounce back in the spring in one or two seasons, but larger trees might take a few years to regain their former strength. If your tree is showing strong growth and is not dropping limbs, you can consider it healed after the first two seasons.

Trees don’t usually grow back after being cut down. Some particularly robust tree species may start sending up new stems from a stump to recover, but those stems won’t become a “tree” like before. Generally, trees don’t recover from being entirely cut down, which is why it’s important to be careful when making a decision. When you cut down a tree, it’s a good idea to make plans to remove the stump, even if it’s unlikely to grow back.

Unfortunately, palm tree stumps are one of the most difficult types to remove due to how their roots grow. Unlike other trees, palm tree roots grow horizontally and vertically. Palm tree roots grow as deep as three feet into the ground, although soil and growing conditions could mean they go as far as 50 inches into the earth.

If you want to be able to repurpose the grass in the area where you removed a stump later, you’ll have to dig quite deep—and perhaps wide—to trim away all the roots.

The best tools for tree removal include a chainsaw for large trees, an ax for notching and cutting down small trees, and a wedge to help control the direction a tree falls in. A hatchet can be useful for very small trees, but won’t be effective for medium to large trees.

All of the tree root removal methods mentioned above are effective on any kind of root, whether it’s still growing or simply needs a gentle nudge to finish decomposing. The only difference is that larger roots tend to be harder to remove and may require multiple chemical treatments as well as manual labor to eradicate.
