I've done handyman work for 10 years. I started doing this work full time at the beginning of 2022. I have experience in building decks, steps and other wood working projects. I am able to do hardwood, and tile flooring. I've done bathroom remodeling and and room remodeling. I can pressure wash houses and driveways. I work with several landlords on maintaining their rental properties. I have a background of 15 plus years in minor electrical. I am self employed and looking to grow my business. I do not do plumbing, roofing, or A/C.

"Building a gazebo for the backyard Chris was on time and efficient. Job was exactly what I needed done. Fair pricing and good quality work. I would recommend him again"

Hello! I work offshore and I'm looking for side work that will hopefully take off as a business some day. I won't get into anything that I don't fully understand. Looking forward to working with people and finding solutions.

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

The cost of installing an in-ground pool is about $55,000 on average. This cost can range from $39,000 to $70,000 or more, depending on factors like your pool's size, shape, and materials.

Vinyl in-ground pools are the most budget-friendly option, averaging around $30,000. However, these typically only last about 25 years. More expensive options, like concrete, last longer (up to 75 years) but come with a heavier price tag of $50,000.

The process involves selecting a site, preparing the ground, setting up a supportive frame, and securely installing the liner and water filtration system.

Water only runs through a pool heater when not in use if the heater doesn’t have a bypass system. A bypass system stops the flow of water through the heater when not in use. If you don’t have one, then yes, water will still run through the pool heater even when not in use. Not having a bypass system may increase the effects of wear and tear on your pool heater or disrupt the water’s chemical balance.

It can take anywhere from 12 to 24 hours to fill the average pool with water—and that’s if you use a couple of garden hoses. A water delivery service can fill your pool in one to three hours. Some services even pre-treat the water so it’s swim-ready as soon as it’s filled.

When you first install a pool heater, it can take anywhere from eight to 48 hours for it to heat up the pool. But on average, it takes around 12 hours. The exact amount of time it takes for a pool heater to heat your pool ultimately depends on the pool’s size and the type of heater you have.
