Told us on phone the amount of service call.  Arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, repaired and cleaned the unit.  He told us the unit did not need replacement even though it is quite old.  We will call them again when we have problems with the AC to repair and or replace.

Had a problem because my air-conditioner didn't work.
Service reply was almost immediate.
The problem was diagnosed and fixed first shot.
These guys are not parts changers!
I strongly recommend this company.

They always call me and are prompt about it. They service the unit and tell me how it's doing. I have used them for 15 years for all my air service needs. They installed a new unit at my other house. I have always had good luck with them. The price is reasonable.

They have done all our air conditioning and heating work for the last fifteen years.  They are very good.  They also do work for my husband at his business and we use them for the house too.  I just call and they show up.  They didn’t come for the annual check this year because it was in the summer time and it was so hot that we postponed it.  They should be coming sometime soon.  They usually come early spring or late summer before its too hot but it was so hot this year that they didn’t come.  I don’t have to wait for them for a long time when they come.  They always ask if it is an emergency before they show up.  When they say they are going to be here between 9 and 10, they show up between 9 and 10.  They explain everything before they do anything on the unit.  They explain how much it can cost and what they can do to fix the problem if any.  They also tell us what it can lead to if I don’t get it fixed.  I have never had to wait on them to get parts or whatever.  They always seem to have the parts that they need.  They do a good job at a good price.

We called for annual service and it took less than 48hrs for the maintainence call. The unit was completely cleaned and check out. Inside and Outside. The cost was very reasonable.

Barry and his team know A/C and Heating. I used him for technical help in designing a special application for a home theater that required an ultra low noise cooling system. Barry went beyond my expectations. I also know he designed and installed the HVAC system for Red's indoor pool which again required specialty knowledge associated with such a high humid and chlorine infused environment.

I highly recommend Barry's Air Conditioning.  The two man service crew arrived on time, determined my problem and quickly fixed it.  The cost was very reasonable.  I will call them in the future when needed.

I found them on Angie's List and the interaction with them went very well. The service guy was very professional and seemed to know his business. He was excellent. It was a call on our weekend. I have nothing to compare their prices with but I was comfortable paying what I did since the air conditioner was high priority.

The two man crew arrived on time in uniform.  They protected my wood floors with protective blankets from the door to the attic access ladder.  They diassembled/removed the old equipment in under 2 hours, fabricated the new plenum and installed the new unit in under 6 hours(with a 1 hour lunch).  Explained in detail how to program the thermostat and when the enlarged return air door assembly would be available for installation later.  Dennis discovered during the estimate process that our existing enclosure was sized for a 4 ton AC air handler, not a 5 ton unit as was required.

I was very pleased with the service Barry's A/C provided. I have had bad experiences with A/C contractors in the past, so I asked by insurance agent to recommend a contractor who does quality work at a competitive price. He suggested Barry A/C, so I call for an appointment. I scheduled an appointment for Wednesday, March 30 which was 5 days after my call. They offered to come earlier if it was an emergency, but I said that March 30 at 1:00 PM was fine. The tech arrived exactly on time, was polite, and very professional. I explained the problem with the 3 units in my home. I told him that I would like to avoid replacing the units at this time. He cleaned all three units, recharged all 3 with coolant, and discovered a coolant leak in the evaporator coils in one unit. He checked the other two units for leaks. It took several hours to complete the work, but the units are now working. He did say that the unit with the leaky coil may need to be replaced, but would should last through the summer. He said he could not replace just the coils because the unit used an refrigerant which is no longer available. I was very happy with the service. The price was competitive.

My existing window unit was old and not cooling the room adequately. I called and two service technician's arrived on time. Both of them were professional and knowledgeable. After removing the unit and bringing it back to their shop for cleaning and general maintenance, they reinstalled the unit to see if I was satisfied. They suggested a new unit may be required due to it's poor performance and age. It was decided that a new unit would be required. Due to the age of the unit, I was not surprised. The home office called and informed me that they had a used unit that was in new condition and offered a discount price versus purchasing a new unit. I agreed and the new unit was installed. It not only looked brand new but operated brand new. I am very pleased with the overall experience with Barry's and would highly recommend them to a friend.
