"I had a bad computer board in my oven. they said they would not cover it because they found a roach. This is Florida we have some roaches. i do not have a bug problem. It has nothing to do with a bad computer board. This company looks for a way to deny claims. i had one other claim and they tried to deny it as well. Save yourself some agravation and stay away. They must post their own positive reviews. They took my $65.00 fee and did nothing"

You can use either paint thinner or mineral spirits to clean paint brushes, but both have distinct advantages. On the other hand, mineral spirits have less toxicity, less odor, and lower volatility. It is safer to use indoors and doesn’t evaporate as quickly if you need to leave the brushes to soak.

When a window is painted shut, this means that paint has gotten into the cracks when window sashes or window frames were being painted. It’s pretty easy for this sort of thing to happen while painting, but sometimes homeowners will use paint to seal drafty windows, which will often cause them to get stuck shut.

You technically can paint wires in a basement ceiling, but there are several important safety and code considerations. It's safe to paint non-metallic sheathed cable as long as the labeling remains visible. You can also paint low-voltage wires and conduit and junction boxes to help them blend into your basement. 

However, you should not paint damaged or deteriorated wiring is a fire hazard because it poses a fire hazard. The same goes for painting over high-heat wires that connect to heat-generating appliances or systems. If your already-painted walls have glossy paint, scuff the surface with 220-grit sandpaper or its equivalent before applying primer and paint. For all other paint sheen finishes, clean the walls and repair any spots that need it. Remember to protect the places that you don't intend to paint.

When applying the first coat of touch-up paint, it is best to use a paint roller. A roller allows you to get a thin layer of paint to the area to avoid an unsightly blend with the old coat of paint. However, if you need to touch up the area a second time after the first coat has dried, a small brush will work best to avoid applying too much paint.
