She graduated with a BA in Sociology with a Women’s Studies Minor. She started the Women’s Issues Organization at Loyola. Her first job outside of college was working for Catholic Charities Refugee Resettlement Program. After five years of working in the immigration and refugees field, she decided to take a different path on resettlement.
