Did a walk through and explained the entire process along with that to expect and what precautions they would take. Initially anticipated 2 days but the guys stayed and worked past dark to finish up. They asked several times if I wanted anything changed or material added anywhere. Very happy with them and their professionalism!"

We do not recommend fiberglass insulation for soundproofing purposes, especially if you are working on a room that’s part of your living space. Fiberglass and cellulose typically settle, shift, or deteriorate around 15 years. Once your insulation reaches the 15-year mark, it's time to check it for signs of needing to be replaced.

Radiant barriers and insulation serve different purposes, so one is not inherently better than the other. Radiant barriers reflect radiant heat, helping keep spaces cool, especially in hot climates, while insulation slows heat transfer through conduction. For optimal energy efficiency, it’s best to use both together.
