"He was very adequate on getting me a fair price, very well mannered, and was on time or early for everything. He demolished 2 sheds for me and did a very good job. And the cleanup after the demolition was very professional it’s like the sheds were never there! Highly recommend to anybody!"

"The experience was amazing!! I know nothing about tree removal/trim but Brody and Steve took time to explain each procedure that I felt empowered to make the right decision for our tree issues. I appreciate their time to explain most of all. After the work was done Mom and I were very pleased. Thanks guys!"

"They were very professional from the beginning until the end.  Mr. Broussard came by at the pre-arranged time to survey the trees and give me an estimate.  On the day of the service, he personally supervised the entire process.  When finished, all of the debris was picked up and hauled away.  I would recommend Billy Broussard to anyone.

"5 Stars – Outstanding Service! I recently hired Apex Tree Service to remove a massive oak tree from my backyard, and I couldn't be more impressed with their work. From start to finish, the team was professional, efficient, and highly skilled. They arrived on time, had all the right equipment, and handled the job with precision and care. The tree was in a tricky location, close to my house and fence, but they took it down safely without any damage to the surrounding area. They also did a fantastic job cleaning up—my yard looked better after they left than before they arrived! If you're looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and courteous tree service, I highly recommend Apex. They exceeded my expectations in every way."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Tree borers are difficult to control and remove once they make a home in your tree. However, with patience and determination, some methods can slow the damage or even eliminate the pests. But, once the damage is too much for the tree to handle, the only solution becomes removing it. Talk to a tree specialist early for the best chance at saving your tree.

There are four common ways to prune a tree correctly: crown thinning, crown reduction, crown raising, and crown cleaning. The method you choose depends on the purpose of pruning. However, making the correct cuts is a vital part of the process, regardless of your method. Pruning incorrectly can damage or even kill the tree. So, you may want to hire a professional tree-trimming company to tackle the task.

You can use the formula mentioned earlier to calculate the depth of tree roots. Each inch of width of a tree trunk translates to six inches of depth within the root system. Large trees extend anywhere from 2 to 6 feet into the ground, with some magnificent specimens going even deeper.

The exact answer to this question depends on which region of the country you’re talking about, but according to various tree counts, some of the most common types of trees in the United States include red maple, Douglas fir, quaking aspen, loblolly pine, and sweetgum.

Generally, you do not have the right to take fruit from a neighbor's tree, even if the branches overhang your property. The fruit is considered the property of the tree's owner. While you may have the right to trim branches that cross into your yard, the fruit on them typically still belongs to your neighbor. However, laws can vary by state and municipality. In some areas, branches that extend into your yard or trees that straddle a property line may entitle you to some of the fruit. The best course of action is to speak with your neighbor, as they may be happy to share. If a conversation is not possible, check your local regulations before picking any fruit.
