"The small backyard area of my townhouse is mainly used as a dog run for my small dogs.

There was not enough sunlight to maintain grass, so I asked Steven if he would cover the area with inexpensive square paving stones from Home Depot.

His men put down plastic and brought in sand to cover it. They brought in the paving stones and did a great job of setting them, even carefully cutting pieces to fill gaps, which exceeded my expectations.

We were very pleased with the work, which was done in an area that was not easy to access."

"We had set up an open appointment for them to come out, but to call before arrival. However, there was no phone call which could have been a miscommunication. They showed up for the work and completed the job. The job took them a little over two hours. The pricing for the deal was great! They left no mess behind and the area was very clean. Overall, my experience with them was good."

"Reed was super helpful and informative. He did a great job clearing our leaves from a large magnolia tree in our yard. He even consulted on some future work that we’d like to have done to our yard! I’d recommend him to anyone that would listen. Great personality, great work, great customer service."

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

The best way to sand a deck is by cleaning it, sanding the boards and stairs with 60- or 80-grit sandpaper, and sanding the railings and posts with 80-grit sandpaper. You should sand in the direction of the wood grain to avoid damaging the timber. When sanding your deck, use medium pressure and aim for an even sand. Pressing too hard with a sander can damage decks, as most are softwoods.

You can concrete can be done when it’s wet or dry. However, it’s safer when wet, as harmful dust and chemicals are present. Sanding it when dry is faster, but you’ll agitate more dust and chemicals, meaning you’ll need to be more careful.

Costs depend on surface material, labor, debris disposal, and the type of blasting media used.

Sand is a common sublayer for hardscape features like driveways, paver patios, and more. Most projects that involve sand require a 1-inch layer to promote evenness, drainage, and weight distribution. For further drainage, most projects have a 6-inch minimum layer of gravel beneath the sand.

Sandblasting refers to the process of cleaning a surface using compressed air and aggregate. Soda blasting is the gentlest type of this method, but it differs from sandblasting that uses mineral or other aggregate, since sodium bicarbonate breaks apart more easily than other forms of blast media and, therefore, cannot be reused.
