It was very god, they did a complete inspection and I do have a contract with them. They don't owe me any additional money. They don't look for problems just to earn money. I was very please with the service that I got.

Terrible...Albers over-sized one unit and it kept going out, loosing Freon and overall poor performance. When we received a second opinion after 5 years we were told the unit was over sized and would continue to under-perform. Also had mold in the new duct work and units even though Albers installed UV lights in the units.

We were long time customers of Albers, but our last expereince was horrible. We had three different workers come out and they all said different things. 1 of the three was polite, but the other 2 I did not care for. I finally had to hire another company to fix the issue for a lot less than Albers quoted me.

.It started ok, they did show up on time initially but the guys sent, many of whom acted as if it was their first tome doing this type of work, were not good at all. The crew leader who was related to Albers was a total loser. He got mad at us every time we asked about all the mistakes he was making. Albers himself continully told us how he knew what he was doing. Then we finally got him out to show him and then guess what? They came back to fix the issues. If we wouldn't have double checked their work, we would really be in trouble. Overall, this company is an embarrassment to Carrier and I am surprised that they don't pull their franchise. Either way, do yourself a favor and move on to someone with a better rating.

The service man called before arrival and arrived at the scheduled time on 7/25/13. He seemed knowledgeable and did a through job inspecting all parts of the system for what I thought was a reasonable price. This is the first time I have used this company and he left a good impression.
I asked to have someone give me a quote on a new system and a reprehensive made an appointment on 7/30/13. He was supposed to call prior to arrival but never did. He gave a good impression as well and said he would be back with me shortly with an estimate. I was under the impression it would be about two to three days. After about a work week had passed I called and was told by someone else that and quot;he had a lot on his plateand quot;. I understood that and offered to leave my email address and asked if he could just send me a quick email.
So here it is over a month since my initial service call and I have not had any communication from this company. I have difficulty trusting them after this experience and will not do business with them again.

I have to say, my overall experience with the ALBER'S company was very positive and I will be signing up for a twice yearly maintenance contract. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone!

Carrier Infinity system works as described and has been very economical since installation.
The ductwork installer's improper workmanship was shameful and has continued to cause me grief from day one. The worst of it being that three room ceilings have now molded due to excessive condensation created by flex duct runs touching each other in the attic. Condensation literally pools between the ductwork where they touch. First it was crushed ductwork-they fixed that when i insisted that it wasn't properly installed. Now this...
Beware! Do not allow this condition to occur at your home! No duct runs should touch in a non-conditioned space. http://www.atcoflex.com/faqs.html (click on and quot;read thisand quot; for more info)
Alber's installer should have known this fact when they installed the ductwork-and now they should remedy all of
the damage caused by it. Instead, they offered to install $1300 of attic fans. I have requested that they isolate each and every duct run, moving them or buffering them with some material to provide airflow between them. And also to provide a vapor barrier to protect the joists and insulation below the offending ductwork from future drips.
They had also originally mis-installed a new dryer vent duct-screws through the duct had to be corrected after I found them (by accident). Same installer, to my disadvantage. This has since been reinstalled.
The owner, who was very attentive when it came to selling the top of the line system now doesn't want to deal with it directly.
FYI-Carrier warranties only the system itself, not the installation.
The proper installation is the responsibility of Albers. The botched installations have soured me on Albers A/C. If your work causes damage, you should stand behind it. A $30,000 investment for the top of the line system shouldn't result in molding walls and poor response to correct improper installation and the damage that it has caused.
