"I dont usually write reviews but I’m beyond impressed with the work done on my garage. The builders was professional, reliable, and clearly skilled. They communicated well, stuck to the schedule, and delivered high-quality work with great attention to detail. The garage looks amazing and is built to last. I highly recommend him to anyone needing quality construction work!"

"First of all he's honest because everyone else wanted to charge me $800-$1200 dollars to relevel my trailer home. Eric came out and seen it was a simple fix and did it for $250 I was so impressed I decided to give him more work to clean my yard from storm damage and he and his helpers did a wonderful job they were fast efficient and respectful. And for the first time hiring handymen I didn't have to repeat myself to him Eric did exactly what I asked him to do Very Very impressed"

"I am so glad I went with B. Broussard Construction. I had previously tried to hire another contractor but he never showed up. After a few weeks of that contractor not showing up, I decided to go else where. That is when I found B.Broussard Construction. They got right to it so quick and it didnâ t take them but a few days. I did not get a chance to meet Brad in person but my mother did. I was informed he was very kind and all around good man. I was very impressed with their work, the timely manner it took them to complete it, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to renovate their home. I would definitely use them again in the future for other projects! God Bless :)"

Subcontractors questions, answered by experts

Italianate architecture is a reinterpretation of Renaissance styles, combining elements of Italian farmhouses and villas with Victorian materials and construction. This home style emerged in the Victorian era, gaining popularity in the U.S. in the mid-to late-1800s. The style came about in response to what many then viewed as the too-rigid and stuffy Classical style designs.

Depending on what the blueprints are for, a qualified draftsperson, contractor, or architect can draw them up. In some cases, including specialty permitting for a build, you may be required to use a licensed architect.

In many cases, a blueprint drawn up by a certified professional is required before a city or municipality approves a permit.

You have three options in terms of professionals who can draw up blueprints: a draftsperson, an architect, or a structural engineer. A draftsperson can sometimes draw up plans for new construction, but they more often work from approved plans for alterations or to provide 3D drawings. Architects are usually the best option for standard residential construction projects. Structural engineers might be necessary for custom home builds or for alterations that could affect your home’s structural integrity. Draftsmen cost the least of the three, followed by architects and then structural engineers.

New constructions, renovations, and interior layouts benefit from expert drafting.

Typically, general remodeling involves architects, contractors, interior designers, electricians, plumbers, and sometimes structural engineers. Each plays a role in bringing the project from concept to completion.
