Pennington Plumbing Company specialized in new construction for many years, Benny had plumbed well over 600 homes in Northeast Louisiana, before starting to offer remodeling and repair work services. The newest addition to the company is the Chief Whole Home Water Purification Systems for all types of water systems, including well systems. Benny graduated from Bernice High School in 1986. Benny is married to Malissa, and has four children, Ashley, Blake, Jake and Cody Pennington. Benny and Malissa have seven grandkids, Braylen, Anna Grace, Payton, Loreali, Belicia, Isaac and Willow. Benny has always enjoyed working in the plumbing field and working with his hands. An outdoorsman, Benny enjoys hunting, fishing, and camping. Benny also enjoys coaching sports and working with young people. Mr. Pennington loves his family and has taught his sons the meaning of serving the community, because of this we changed our name to Pennington Service Company, LLC in 2012. The average life span of a well pump is between 15 and 25 years, but a few factors can influence how long your well pump lasts. Excessive water demand and cycle frequency are the main causes of premature wear and tear. The well pump’s motor size as well as material and installation quality can also affect its life span.

Schedule annual inspections, monitor water pressure, and address minor issues promptly to avoid major repairs.

Another common question is, what pressure should your well tank be set at? The standard rule of thumb is to set your well tank’s pressure at 2 psi below the cut-on point of your pressure switch. So if your well is set up for a high cycle of 40/60 psi, your pressure should be set to 38 psi. If you use a low setting of 30/50 psi, you would set the pressure to 28 psi.
