"Their team was very professional. They arrived right on time and took the time to answer all my questions before we started. They took extra care with my antiques I needed moving and were gentle putting things back. Consider using carpet protectors or area rugs in high-traffic areas to minimize wear and tear on your new carpeting.

Vinegar and baking soda can effectively remove old carpet stains, and there are a few common methods for application. One method involves applying them separately: sprinkle baking soda over the stain, let it sit for 15 to 30 minutes, then vacuum it up. Afterward, blot the area with a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water. Another method combines the ingredients on the stain to create a foaming reaction that helps lift it. To do this, pour a generous layer of dry baking soda over the stain. Then, in a spray bottle, mix distilled white vinegar with warm water and a few drops of dish soap, and spray this solution over the baking soda. Let the mixture sit for several hours until dry, then wipe or vacuum up the residue and blot the area with a clean towel. You can repeat the process if the stain persists.

Hydrogen peroxide can be an effective stain remover for outdoor rugs. However, it is not recommended to use for cleaning the entire surface of the rug as it is a very strong substance. If you’re battling tough stains on an outdoor rug, you can use hydrogen peroxide diluted with some water and dish soap to treat the stained area directly.

Anything that might have been exposed to fumigation chemicals should be washed before use. Wipe down and sanitize surfaces like countertops and tables, and wash all utensils (or take care to store them in an airtight box beforehand), as well as anything else that could find its way into someone’s mouth, like kid or pet toys.
