"The first day they never showed up. We rescheduled and they came. The quality of work was great. The issue was with was not done versus what was done. The owner is very nice and once we got past the miscommunication, things seemed to go smoothly. The owner e-mailed me initially and asked what my priorities were and I advised the kitchen and bathroom and those respective floors. The bathrooms were cleaned very well, however neither the bathrooms nor the kitchen floor was swept let alone mopped. I understand two people cleaned for two hours which is what I paid for and I accept that to an extent. I just felt like if time was running out, perhaps it may have been a better idea to spend time on what was considered a priority (FLOORS) opposed to rearrange the stuffed animals on a 3 year old's bed. I went back and read the description and it stated all regular cleaning. It did not mention floors. With that in mind, I'd suspect most people consider floors as part of regular cleaning and if it is not part of regular cleaning that is okay but when floors were mentioned as the priority that was probably the right time to bring up that floors aren't included and/or sell floors as additional. That said, if you go to their website, it features a mop and bucket on the cleaning page, neither of which are part of the actual cleaning... If you can get them to show, they will do a great job on what they clean but they may not clean everything you might expect. I would not recommend this provider."

"The men were on time, knew what was needed and cleaned up after. They were a great team. I spoke with the manager who helped me decide what would be best for my situation. I recommend them to everyone for insulation of their attics. Thank you Mr. Brock. It was a pleasure."

"LeafFilter doesn't clean gutters, they sell and install their LeafFilter Gutter products and only clean the gutters if you buy their product. I can't even begin to afford their product so I wasn't able to get my gutter cleaned by them."

Deck Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Be careful when choosing a product to help you remove ice from your wood deck. Never use sand, gravel, or salt, since these items can damage and scratch the wood. Instead, look for chemical de-icers that are marked as safe for wood decks or use hot water to melt snow and ice.

What goes under your floating deck depends on your preferences. Some homeowners put landscaping fabric underneath their decks to prevent weeds from popping up through the boards. Others choose to build a floating deck over grass or gravel. However, it’s best not to set your deck directly on the ground. Instead, set your deck on blocks to keep it elevated enough to prevent moisture from rotting the wood.

For a 12x20-foot (240-square-foot) deck, you can expect to pay between $7,200 and $14,400. This cost is based on a general price of $30 to $60 per square foot. The final price will depend on factors such as the decking material, design complexity, deck type, location, and local labor costs. Keep in mind that add-ons will increase the total; for example, adding an under-deck drainage system to a deck of this size could cost an additional $7,700.

In most cases, your deck will need some form of deck footing to hold it in place, preventing moisture from rotting your wood and decreasing your deck’s lifespan. Concrete deck blocks are the most common type of footing for floating decks. Some homeowners use ground-level deck footings. For added security, consider digging and laying your ground-level footings below ground.

Cold temperatures can make your deck boards contract. If they don’t contract evenly, they can put pressure on the deck screws and cause them to pop out, making a noticeable sound. Winterizing your deck can help prevent this from happening.
