Customers say: Quality work

"I thought I needed a new motor for my pool pump, but Jerry came out and said all I needed was a start relay. I actually had a spare motor with bad bearings. Instead of charging me for a part I did not need, Jerry used the relay off the old motor and just charged me labor. I will definitely keep him in mind if I have any other issues."

"LJ did an outstanding job repairing my pool. He replaced the skimmer which was cracked and leaking, installed a new LED light, repaired the walls and floor of the pool and installed a new liner that fits like a glove and looks great. The Accent Pools team was communicative throughout the process and a pleasure to deal with. If you have a vinyl lined pool don't hesitate to give them a call."

Small jobs welcome

"Charles was easy to work with and always accessible, answering texts and calls quickly. We received the written quote the evening after he came to our home to view our pool. The quote was a fair price. The whole job went so fast – from start to finish in 2.5 days! We did have a slight hiccup when the new wall fittings were being replaced with 1/2 inch instead of 3/8 inch ones– which would not have given enough pressure for waterflow. It caused us a slight panic, but Charles came immediately and it was corrected. Overall we had a good experience with Charles and his wife Lisa."

"We installed our first pool with Precision in 2020. We were very impressed with the company. This year we moved and decided to put in another pool. We again hired Precision. The service and professionalism is top notch. I know that I will always receive a quick response when questions arise. We have received so many compliments on our backyard thanks to Jake and his crew. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for a backyard makeover."

Pool Construction and Installation questions, answered by experts

Framing is often the most expensive phase of building a house because it’s time-consuming and requires a lot of materials. It costs between $20,000 and $50,000 on average, depending on materials and labor costs. Before construction begins, it’s possible that purchasing land is the priciest step in the process. Some plots of land sell for $3,000, while others cost upwards of $150,000.

The longest part of building a custom home is the design phase. It takes multiple professionals and a ton of work to bring your vision for your dream home to life while sticking to a homebuilding budget and also ensuring everything is built to code. Expect the design phase for a custom home build to take six months to a year.

Above all, the downside to building a new house is a longer timeline. You need several months to finish the build, depending on the supply chain and labor availability in the meantime. Building a home compared to buying one is also more expensive, both in the building process and when it comes to mortgage rates and property taxes.

This is fairly rare, but sometimes the local government or a group like a historical society will label a tree as a landmark, or historical item. These designations almost always come with a small, on-site plaque for identification, but you should also be able to look up protected trees in your area on a city website or similar list. If the tree in question is a landmark, call your local government and ask how to proceed before making any plans.

The small lines on the tape measure either indicate inches, fractions of an inch, or centimeters and millimeters. On the imperial unit side (aka the inches side), the longest lines indicate inches, followed by the next shortest lines that indicate a half-inch, and then the quarter, eighth, and sixteenth-inch. On the metric side, the lines break down meters, centimeters, and millimeters.
