"The service we received from Precision Tree Service was excellent. The staff and crew were friendly, knowledgable and professional. Once I called to ask for help, Mrs. Gloria was so helpful and communicated with me when we could expect our estimate and services preformed. Our trees look beautiful now as they were very overgrown and branches were hanging on our roof. After the work was completed, the crew removed all tree branches and debris. If you are need of a professional and licensed company to perform any tree services please call Baton Rouge Precision Tree Service. You will not be disappointed."

"Hired this company to clear my land and build a driveway. Everything came out exactly as promised. Would definitely hire this company again! They were professional and courteous. Everything was done in a timely manner for a fair price."

"Because of previous good experience with Kim, I asked for a bid and info about stump removal from the 1 1/2 acres at the back of my property plus disc and grading. He explained what would be done, offered a decent price and work commenced. It was done quickly and thoroughly. He was willing to generously negotiate additional fees when I added additional stumps to be removed. I was astounded at the quality of work his team did...it's clear, just like with first job, Kim cares deeply about his work and his customers. I would never hesitate to recommend him to anyone else."

Land Clearing Services questions, answered by experts

Before property transactions or major improvements to ensure accuracy.

If you’re planning to dig on your property, you’ll need to check for underground utility lines. Call the national call-before-you-dig 811 number. Once connected to an operator, you can schedule a site visit to mark underground lines. This way, you won’t accidentally dig into pipes and can cause major (read: costly) issues.

Yes, new home construction will always require building permits, no matter where you live. In most cases, you’ll need a general construction permit, along with plumbing and electrical permits for the utility lines in your home. Depending on where you live, you’ll likely find that you also need permits for things like connection to a sewage system or installing exterior components, like decks, driveways, patios, and curb cutouts. Leave navigating the permits required for new home construction to a professional to ensure your home is built legally and safely.

Building a road on a slope requires careful planning and will normally require a drainage system underneath to prevent flooding and damage to the road over time. Your professional may lengthen your road to create switchbacks if the slope directly to your home is too steep, as there are regulations for maximum road slope. The drainage system will help prevent runoff from the higher side of the slope from damaging the asphalt or concrete. Keep in mind that building a road on a slope isn’t a good DIY project, as a lot can go wrong.

If a buyer pays for a survey, the surveyor they hired will only provide results to them. It’s up to the buyer whether they share the survey results with the seller or not, even if they ultimately walk away from the deal. It’s considered good faith to share the results with the seller, though, especially if you back out of the deal, as the seller can then provide that survey to future interested parties.
