"It went great! They were very professional and were here when they said they would be and cleaned up behind themselves. We did have a minor leakage problem with the first rain, but we called and they were back here within a couple of days to fix the problem and we have had no leakage since. I was impressed that they handled the call back so quickly, which to me, says a lot about their integrity. The company that did our original waterproofing has left Kentucky and our "lifetime" transferable warranty is now void, so having been burned once we were a bit leery, but they proved to be a very reliable company. Would not hesitate to recommend or use them again."

"Isidro and his crew removed the mold and applied a paint that will keep the mold from re-forming. Isidro also determined that we would need new gutters to prevent the problem from happening again. We had known the gutters were in bad shape and we also knew the leaky gutters were probably causing problems with moisture so we went ahead and hired Isidro's company to remove the old gutters and replace them with new gutters. Isidro always took the time to explain what they were doing and why they were doing it. His crew was hard-working and friendly. We are so happy with the results! We have no signs of mold in the basement and the gutters are doing their job. It is also nice to have attractive gutters now."

"I had a bad computer board in my oven. they said they would not cover it because they found a roach. This is Florida we have some roaches. i do not have a bug problem. It has nothing to do with a bad computer board. This company looks for a way to deny claims. i had one other claim and they tried to deny it as well. Save yourself some agravation and stay away. They must post their own positive reviews. They took my $65.00 fee and did nothing"

I have 17 years exp...in this field. We offer a wide verity of services. Panting, Pressure washing, we install Wood Trim, Rubber base board, Doors. We paint wood, drywall, concrete, metal, vinyl, etc... We also paint with Metallic Paints. We paint interior and exterior. We don't turn away any costumer for any reasons, there is no job to big or too small. I have never left a job without the costumers approval, if you are not happy I'm not happy. I have 3 guys who work for me. My number 1 rule with my guys is niceness, and appearance. I take a lot of pride in what I do, I also love what I do. There are times when you should remove all exterior paint before repainting. This includes when you need to get rid of lead-based paint (which should be done by a pro), or if you need to apply a different finish than what’s already there. Your house may also have too many pre-existing layers of old paint, in which case you’ll be better off getting rid of the old layers first.

Although plastic-sealed paint cans can look tricky, you can open them with adjustable pliers in no time. Grip the plastic seal with the pliers and pull the seal up, moving around the seal until you’ve pried the plastic up in enough spots. Then, you can grab the seal and pop it off the top of the paint can. Depending on the strength of the seal, you may even be able to remove the seal with just your hands by pulling upwards.

Painting over mold is not an effective solution and can actually make the problem worse. Instead, it traps moisture, which allows mold to grow and spread beneath the surface. Mold must be completely removed before painting to ensure the problem doesn’t recur. If mold is painted over, it may eventually seep through the new layer of paint, causing discoloration and peeling.

You shouldn't paint a metal fence. Painting doesn't necessarily damage a corrugated metal fence, but these types of fences are meant to flex, and paint can easily chip and break off. Latex paints can address this issue, but those tend not to be very weather-resistant. Certain paints can trap moisture in the corrugation, which can rust the metal and lead to corrosion. And finally, if you paint a copper fence, it won't patina, which is one of the main reasons people buy copper.  

In most cases, paint primer is necessary before painting over wood paneling. A hardy primer formula covers up stains and leaves a grippy surface for the new paint to hold onto. If you don’t use a primer first, you risk poor adhesion, visible blemishes, and a paint top coat that could flake away later. 

There are two primer choices: oil-based or latex-based. Choose an oil-based primer for durability and adhesion, but prepare for extra dry time and more VOC (volatile organic compounds) fumes. Or, pick a stain-blocking latex primer. They’re easy to apply, clean up, and affordable.
