While our company is young in name and age, our five founders have a wealth of knowledge and experience in various business settings, with a combined experience level of over 100 years in the woodworking industry. While selling cabinets everywhere in the south east region, we are based in Bronston Kentucky. Bronston is a small community outside of Somerset. This tight knit community is where our 8400 sq. foot facility is located.

Larger jobs may include sub-contractors, but customer will be notified in advance. All work require a signed contract by all parties. We require half of monies up front with the rest upon completion of work. Larger and longer jobs may require draws, but will be discussed and written in contract. It’s not usually a problem, although you may want to check the specifics of your cabinets first. A wall of kitchen cabinets can support about 600 pounds, including what’s inside and anything resting on top. Keep that limit in mind when adding DIY shelves or décor to the tops of cabinets. If you are installing a new row of full cabinets, they’ll typically have their own support mechanisms and the added weight will be minimal.

There are a few different types of paints that you can use on cabinets—latex, acrylic, and oil-based. Most cabinet painters choose latex, but acrylic paints are also a great choice. In addition to the type of paint, you also need to select a finish. Matte finishes tend to be less durable, whereas semi-gloss or high-gloss options are better for highly-used cabinets. 

It’s important to note that regular wall paint does not adhere to cabinets correctly—you’ll need cabinet-specific paint.
