"The Daniels & Daniels team did a phenomenal job remodeling our basement; framing, electrical, and drywall work. The entire team was great to work with; always professional and went above and beyond to exceed our expectations. I’ll be contacting them again in the future for other projects."

"Awesome work. Incredible climber! Said they will start @ 9am & did. Took down 8 mature trees in 1 day. Did additional work, w/ my permission, and made finished job more visually pleasing. But didn't charge more! Made sure I was completely satisfied before packing it up. And the price was right. Thanks Joe Buck & crew!"

"They were prompt in their initial response. A company representative came to the house and looked at what needed to be done and said because it was raining the work on the roof could not be done that day. He said someone would call the next day to schedule. Nobody called. I heard nothing afterwards. Since it was over the holidays, I waited before calling myself.  I called on Friday after Christmas and did not receive a return call from the rep's cell. I did not hear on Monday. I called the main office and was told the repairs had already be done. I was shocked because someone had been at home the entire time. He said he would have the representative mentioned above call me, who was also according to this man the person who completed the work and never heard back. I called again to the office and was told the work was definitely completed and that the rep. would call me that day. He did not. He did however, send a woman to give me an estimate on drywall repair as I had asked."

"The job went well, they arrived everyday on time and worked late into the evening, they completed all of the discussed issues and made sure we were satisfied before they left.  had previously contacted another company before hiring  CNJ but they did not want to tend to the extra's needed like replacing window and gutters and their estimate was higher than the insurance adjusters estimate.  CNJ not only made all of the repairs but they were a few  hundred dolloars less than expected.

Skylights questions, answered by experts

Repairing or replacing a skylight generally takes between a few hours to a full day. Simple repairs might take 2 to 4 hours, depending on the complexity of the problem. The total time can vary based on factors like weather conditions, the accessibility of the skylight, and the extent of the work required, such as replacing the entire unit versus performing minor repairs.

There are four main types of lighting used in homes: ambient, task, accent, and decorative. Within these categories, there are a number of fixtures to choose from including ceiling-mounted lights, floor lamps, under-cabinet lights, track lighting, and more.

Choosing the fixture that’s right for you depends on your home design and the area you’re looking to illuminate.

Fixed skylights are by far the most popular type. Because skylights can be pretty high up on your ceiling, fixed (rather than operable) skylights remove some maintenance from the equation. Plus, you don’t have to constantly worry if you shut your skylight fully the last time you opened it or if you’re going to find a leak later on during a rainy day.

Yes, you can cover up a skylight if you no longer wish to have it in your space. There are a few options for covering up a skylight. One option is to install a skylight cover or shade that can be easily opened or closed as needed, allowing you to control the amount of light entering the room. Another option is to cover the skylight with a solid material, such as plywood or drywall, effectively sealing it off. However, when covering a skylight, it's essential to ensure proper insulation and waterproofing to prevent any issues in the future.

Skylights increase natural light, improve ventilation, and enhance aesthetic appeal in rooms.
