Small jobs welcome

"All of the employees were respectable, hard workers. They got the job done quickly and efficiently. When they finished the floor, they had left behind a tremendous job and smiling faces. I would recommend them to anyone needing the same results"

"It was an exceptional experience to work with this company. They provided carpet samples that were superior to others I looked at. The installation was seamless. I love my carpet and am very happy I did business with them. Iâ m about to carpet another area and Iâ m calling them for my quote."

"We had purchased  a big deal for the service. The rugs look good, but I am not sure they rinsed out the soap that they put in carpet. They used a machine that put the cleaner and water in the carpet, and another guy came with a big vacuum machine, and vacuumed up the water, but I never saw any mechanism to rinse all the soap out of the carpet. If there is a lot of soap left in the carpet, it will attract a lot of dirt. Where another company that I used before, have a mechanism which puts the cleaner on, and then rinses it. I put my carpets in less than a year ago, and I feel that they will attract a lot of dirty, and now I feel like I should call the other company to come out and clean the soap. I had a hard time setting up the schedule after I bought the big deal."

Carpet Installation questions, answered by experts

If you want your carpet to last as long as possible, then yes, you need to install carpet padding. Carpet padding creates a layer of protection between the back of your carpet and the floor beneath it, which decreases friction and reduces wear and tear. Aside from that, carpet padding also helps absorb noise and makes your carpet feel more comfortable underfoot.

Carpeting has a few benefits on stairs in addition to being a cost-effective floor covering. It absorbs sound, dampening footsteps. It also provides additional traction, which is especially important if you install linoleum floors, epoxy flooring, or any other floor covering that can become slippery if you’re wearing socks. Therefore, carpets can help prevent slips.

A stair runner can be cheaper than a carpet and will definitely save money over the cost of refinishing hardwood floors and stairs. The price depends, however, on the fabric and quality of the runner. A wool stair runner can be more expensive than an inexpensive polyester carpet and vice versa. Keep an eye on your budget, knowing that the higher quality the carpet and the carpet pad, the better the carpet will wear over time.

It's best to wait until the newly installed carpet has fully settled and dried before moving furniture back into the room. Your carpet installation professionals can provide guidance on the recommended wait time based on factors such as the type of carpet and adhesive used. Moving furniture back in too soon could damage the carpet or affect its adherence to the floor.

When installing carpeting on your steps, start at the top and work your way to the bottom. That way, you can easily control the carpet and create a better seal. This approach prevents the carpet from bunching up or creating wrinkles as you work. You’ll have better leverage over it as gravity helps guide it down each step.
