Small jobs welcome

"All of the employees were respectable, hard workers. They got the job done quickly and efficiently. When they finished the floor, they had left behind a tremendous job and smiling faces. I would recommend them to anyone needing the same results"

"We had purchased  a big deal for the service. The rugs look good, but I am not sure they rinsed out the soap that they put in carpet. They used a machine that put the cleaner and water in the carpet, and another guy came with a big vacuum machine, and vacuumed up the water, but I never saw any mechanism to rinse all the soap out of the carpet. If there is a lot of soap left in the carpet, it will attract a lot of dirt. Where another company that I used before, have a mechanism which puts the cleaner on, and then rinses it. I put my carpets in less than a year ago, and I feel that they will attract a lot of dirty, and now I feel like I should call the other company to come out and clean the soap. I had a hard time setting up the schedule after I bought the big deal."

Carpet Installation questions, answered by experts

DIY is possible for small areas. Professional installation ensures proper stretching and a polished finish.

Yes, you can put carpet directly on concrete. However, you need to take certain precautions to ensure the success of the carpet installation. For example, you’ll need to choose a synthetic carpet pad to provide insulation and cushioning and a vapor barrier to prevent moisture from seeping into the carpet.

You can expect your carpet protection to last about six months to two years. It will last longer in low-traffic areas (compared to busy areas, where your carpet experiences more wear and tear). Once the protector wears off, you’ll need to call your carpet contractor to reapply the stain protection treatment and revive your carpet

While not always required, experts recommend removing baseboards before removing old carpet and installing a new one. This practice leads to a smoother process and a cleaner, more professional-looking finish. Removing the baseboards allows for a seamless carpet installation without the risk of damaging either the carpet or the trim. It also provides a good opportunity to repaint or stain the baseboards and inspect the underlying wall for any issues. If you prefer a quicker option, you can carefully cut the old carpet along the edge of the baseboards, but this may result in a less polished installation for the new carpet.

Several types of flooring can be installed over existing tile, provided the current tiles are in good condition. Options include vinyl, vinyl plank, laminate, engineered wood, hardwood, carpet, and cork. Among these, various types of vinyl and engineered wood are the most common choices due to their versatility. Alternatively, you can install new tiles on top of your current ones if you like tile floors but want to update the look. Before proceeding with any new flooring, it's crucial to ensure your existing tiles are not damaged; otherwise, they will need to be removed first.
