Small jobs welcome

"Mr. Gourley explained what needed to be done and how he would do the concrete project (driveway area extension, breeze way walk, sidewalks & landscape borders, along with how much it would cost). He did exactly what was to be done and more to make it turn out great. He committed and communicate with me over the time, along with fitting my project in to get it done before winter and bad weather delays. Gourley’s staff works hard and great together with a feeling of family. He put faith back in some contractors for me with his efforts and abilities. I will recommend him to all my friends family and coworkers. Professional in a family way."

I am a small town guy, who takes great quality in my craftsmanship at anything I do. I have alot of different types of handyman services i can offer, whether it be you're needing some flooring done, a tile shower, a backslash. I can install most of any type of hardware and assemble your furniture if needed and show you how to use it as well. If you need your gutters cleaned, replaced, or vinyl soffit. Also do pressure washing and some landscaping as well as well as deck repairs. I would absolutely love to have your business! I treat all my clients with respect and treat you like family.

Landscaping questions, answered by experts

You'll likely need more than great home staging to sell your home. Now is a great time to get to work on the curb appeal of your home . Hire local exterior painters and landscapers to coat the exterior of your home and bring it new life with some sprucing up.

Surface-level tree roots might only pose a small threat, such as being a tripping hazard or obstacle when you mow your lawn. But if mature tree roots start growing in the direction of your home’s foundation or plumbing system, it could be a real problem. Cutting small tree roots out before they grow too large can keep your home safe without removing the whole tree.

The duration of a lakefront landscaping project is determined by its scope, environmental conditions, and weather impacts. It often takes several weeks to a few months to complete.

While both fall and spring are suitable times of the year for planting trees, fall is typically the better option. Soil stays warm long enough to allow tree roots to establish in fall before they go dormant, while spring might give way to intense summer heat before spring-planted trees have time to grow strong roots.

Yes, you can absolutely transplant bushes instead of removing them completely. The success depends on the size of the bushes, their age, and the transplanting season. Ideally, transplant during the dormant season (late fall or winter). Dig out the entire root system in one piece, fill the new hole with fresh soil and mulch, and water thoroughly after planting.
