"Mr. Mayne came out to our house and gave us an estimate on the work to be performed.  He was punctual and very polite.  We felt the price was reasonable so we decided to use his services.  He was very busy and he said he would be able to complete the work in about a month (the middle of October).  When we didn't hear from him I called and he apologized and said that he had gotten behind, but that he would come out the following week.  He followed up by phone and came out when he said to jack hammer the old sidewalk and put in forms for the new concrete.  He had to wait on the concrete, so two days later he had the new sidewalk poured.  We are happy with the quality of the job and would use him again if we had need of concrete work or repairs

"Mr. Barrera was very easy to work with and did a great job on our front steps and retaining wall. Front steps are more complex than most, 13 steps curving up a hill to the front door. They did a complete demolition, framing and pouring of new steps and retaining wall, including coloring and stamping the concrete. "I wanted to follow up my earlier post now that the job has been completed. The work to be done, our house was built in 1968 and there was a gap between the basement wall and the foundation that needed to be filled. We also needed to encapsulate the space. We were in the process of selling our home, and this issue came up in the home inspection. As anyone who has bought or sold a home this summer knows, we found out all the contracting firms are booked solid. We offered to work with the buyer, making repairs after close via escrow, but the buyer rejected and the offer was withdrawn. We decided to go through with the repairs recommended in the inspection report, including the work listed for the crawl space before relisting. We were concerned we would end up in the same situation, unable to make repairs in the inspection report. We had already purchased our new home and were carrying two mortgage payments. Another delay to close would be expensive. As mentioned earlier, Marty from Advantage Restoration was able to inspect and provide us an estimate for the work needed within days of our call. The owner of the Advantage, Mike Bird, called me directly to work out the schedule. Advantage Restoration was booked up, but our job was a smaller one, so they were able to fit our project between other projects. The work was started at the scheduled date and was completed in 2 days, as estimated. All work was done as specified on the estimate, and the final cost matched the estimated cost. The work itself looked great. The work crew explained the work and each step in the process to completion. The final result, we relisted the house and received a new offer. After inspection, there were no remediation items listed by the buyer, including the crawl space, and we are moving straight to closing. Mission accomplished!
