"This provider received a rating of 5 from me for bed bug treatment in 2015. When we discovered bed bugs last month, we decided to use them again. In the interim, ABES had been bought by OPC Pest Services. This time, we were first introduced to Kemuel, whose job was obviously to sell us. He left us under the impression that the treatment would be comparable to what we received in 2015, though the cost was to be $750. compared to $325. He led us to believe that we would have to leave for a few hours after the treatment to avoid breathing the fumes from the pesticide. The great news was that it could be done today. He left us with his phone number, in case we had any further concerns. A short time later, the technician Brock appeared with his approximately 1-gallon sprayer filled with Sterifab (Isopropyl Alcohol). He invested less than 45 minutes, largely spraying around seams on our sofa, loveseat, and queen mattress. Highly unprofessional. Much more to say, but I'm out of space."

Plunkett’s delivers professional pest control services to residential and commercial clients in 20 states and growing. Our entire staff is knowledgeable, trustworthy, resourceful, and passionate about preventing & solving pest concerns for our clients and safeguarding the communities we call home.

"Michael Lyday was the technician and was very professional and courteous. He set a trap and returned the next morning to find a female raccoon. He also found she’d been nursing and captured two kits in the crawl space. He told me to tell him if I heard anymore sounds which I did when he returned the following day. He captured two more kits and told me to call him again if I heard any more sounds. There weren’t any more and I was impressed that he still called to follow up. I was completely satisfied with his humane methods of removing the animals from my property."

Animal Removal questions, answered by experts

Yes, honey bees can sting, but they typically only do it when they feel their hive is threatened. When honey bees are away from their hive, they’re focused on foraging for pollen and nectar, making them unlikely to sting. Only female honey bees, called workers, have stingers, and they will die if they need to use them. Generally, if left undisturbed, honey bees will leave you alone.

Probably not. Many imitation nests are meant to be hung from trees or other tall places, but not all yellow jackets nest up high—most species, such as the common yellow jacket and the southern yellow jacket, build nests in the ground.

No, ground bees are not detrimental to the health of your lawn. In fact, the small holes created by ground bees can actually offer beneficial aeration which moisturizes and nourishes the ground. Additionally, ground bees are highly regarded as vital pollinators, meaning they help plants to reproduce. Unless you’re battling a severe infestation, leaving ground bees undisturbed can boost the health of your yard and the environment.

Yes, they apply humane techniques, prioritizing environmental balance while addressing bee concerns.

In certain cases, yes, the bees may go away on their own, but it’s a risk. Some bee types, such as bumblebees, create seasonal nests and then die out as their new queens seek homes elsewhere. But in most cases, you can’t count on the bees leaving naturally. It’s also not a great idea to leave openings in your walls any longer than you have to, which can attract other pests or cause moisture damage.
