"I totally recommend D.M. Painting Services for exterior painting. Daniel is the owner and is knowledgeable in all house repair. He came to my house to access the work that needed to be done. His price was reasonable. He power washed my house and discovered wood rot around my windows. He told me what it would take to restore it. The adjustment in cost was reasonable. He showed up when he said he would be here and did an exceptional job. It's hard to find dependable people. I will bring him back on future projects. He and I will both be available to do the work outside of normal working hours with increased availability of the job. You can paint over water-damaged drywall as long as it’s dry and there’s no active leak. However, painting over the area will not solve deeper problems like mold or water leaks. 

If you’re 100% positive that these two issues aren’t a concern, paint over the area with a water—or oil-based primer. This type of paint will ensure that it doesn’t simply seep into the spot.

If you decide to paint over wallpaper, it’s important to prep the surface with an oil- or shellac-based primer. This helps prevent moisture from creating bubbles loosening the adhesive. Be prepared to cover the wallpaper with two coats for maximum coverage.

It’s possible to paint certain drop ceiling tiles, including those made of plastic, metal, and wood. Painting fiberboard ceiling tiles is technically possible, but the results rarely look appealing, so it’s best to replace them with new tiles, especially given how affordable they are. If you do paint your drop ceiling tiles, it’s a good idea to use a paint sprayer and a rapidly-drying paint to avoid drips. Latex paint is often a good choice, especially if you thin it and apply it using a sprayer.

When a window is painted shut, this means that paint has gotten into the cracks when window sashes or window frames were being painted. It’s pretty easy for this sort of thing to happen while painting, but sometimes homeowners will use paint to seal drafty windows, which will often cause them to get stuck shut.

Renting a sprayer is the easiest way to paint a barn, but for detailed areas, you’ll want to use a hand brush to get the job done. If you don’t wish to rent a sprayer, you can also use a roller to hand-paint your barn, but this will add time to your project.
