"The job was a bit expensive, but it's not a small house, though a neighbor is getting their house done by someone else for $1000 less. The house and trim look good, until you get really close. House color on trim edges that should be a different color. All over spray wasn't cleaned up well, no masking was done. Lots of paint on the driveway, in the grass and on the upper deck. Areas in the yard where brushes and equipment were cleaned, or where paint was spilled are now dead, I will have to reseed those areas when it gets cooler. For the most part we are satisfied, but attention to detail was lacking."

"Insulation guys were great but the windows are horrible. They let cold air in worse than our old windows. We called them and they finally came out and put a little strip of Insulation on them and they still let in cold air and whistle when the wind blows. We have called and left messages and no calls back. I wouldn't recommend Rolox windows to anyone. Paid around 1000$ per window and still cold air comes in. Never again."

He brushed the stain on which is superior to spraying it on. It looks fabulous. No mess made or if there was, he cleaned up everything. We hired Steve to stain another deck previously and we would hire him again if needed."

Repainting a home as old as ours takes a very thorough and special touch, and KB painting had it. Kate spent a ton of time with us, explaining the process, picking colors, etc. We waited a very long time to be fit in to their schedule and here's the most impressive part. When our turn came, I was unexpectedly laid off work. I desperately wanted the work to still be done, so I called Kate. She came over and we renegotiated. I did a portion of the work myself, they did the rest. This was more than a decade ago and the paint job looks so good our real estate agent thought it had just been done. I highly recommend them, especially for older homes like ours."

They even helped clean windows and clean and replace storm windows. Pressure washing almost always leads to some messes and there was a bit of that due to the unusual construction of our house--not something they or we could have anticipated. Minor inconvenience."
